$TAO or never
Jun 13
on sept 15 2008, lehman brothers collapsed and gave the whole world a reason to believe in $BTC on june 12 2026, a single government order forced anthropic to pull its most capable models offline for every foreign national on earth, and gave the whole world a reason to believe in bittensor:native humans only react to negative things. sad but true. in 2008 we learned the banks were the problem. in 2026 we’ll learn that one kill switch sitting inside a centralised AI lab is the problem.

The All-In crew and @jason touched on something important here. The amount of genomic data being generated is exploding. The challenge is that privacy limits how much of this data can be used to advance AI, while models are becoming increasingly cautious in how they engage with genomic questions. The future of health will increasingly depend on our ability to understand human biology. That requires infrastructure, benchmarks, and training data that allow AI to reason about genomics accurately and at scale. We’re laying the groundwork for that future at Minos.

Unstoppable, uncensorable, global decentralized AI seems like a good investment bet to make. The “Bitcoin of AI” so to say…

There is a reason we started to build out @TrajectoryRL While it is in its infant stage the idea is you can run a powerful local (close to sota in specific domain) model at a fraction of the cost without relying on a centralised entity We need our own models that ideally we run on our own trusted setup
This is your wakeup call. Anthropic just took down Fable 5. It's over. Here's the thing tho: no company or government will EVER be able to take away your local models. There are Opus level models you can run right now on your home GPUs, and nobody can ever stop you from using them This is only the beginning of events like this. Day 1. More government overreach will happen. This will only keep happening more and more as models get closer to AGI Become sovereign. Buy your own compute. Before even that becomes illegal

$TAO is the Bitcoin of AI.

Bittensor is on an absolute tear right now. TAO is up almost 40 percent off the lows right after having its Anthropic moment, and people still do not understand how big this setup could get. Bitcoin had Cyprus in 2013. Banks froze access, people woke up, and BTC went from around $47 to $266 in about 3 weeks. That was the moment decentralized money made sense. Now Bittensor is having its moment with AI. The government can restrict access to intelligence, centralized labs can gate the models, and suddenly decentralized AI stops sounding like a niche crypto idea. It starts sounding necessary. bittensor:native already had its halving last year. Now it has the narrative shock. I think people are waking up to Bittensor now, and this move could be way bigger then most are ready for. Cyprus showed why Bitcoin mattered. Anthropic might show why Bittensor matters. #Bittensor bittensor:native

The US Government has given #Bittensor the best endorsement it could ever ask for They proved the entire thesis for why we need permissionless and decentralised AI Anthropic were forced by the Government to suspend access to Fable and Mythos models for any foreign nationals.. It doesn't matter what you think of Anthropic morals.. what the Governments reasons were.. whether the model was dangerous or not.. The point is.. Closed AI can be switched off We’ve been banging this drum in #bittensor for four years now If frontier intelligence can be restricted.. it will be restricted.. If access can be gatekept.. it will 100% be gatekept If a small group of powerful men and women can decide who gets intelligence and who doesn’t.. they will absolutely use that power This is exactly why bittensor:native matters Intelligence is just too important to have it sit behind permissioned walls controlled by governments and corporations #Bittensor is the fight against this.. Open.. permissionless.. incentivised True open intelligence built by the people.. for the good of the people This Anthropic news is proof that those fears are no longer theoretical.. This shit is real.. the door just got slammed The pure reason #bittensor exists.. is so the world has another one to walk through bittensor:native
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

This is why $TAO is pumping. You can't ban $TAO, because it's decentralized and people can Fable from their homes locally and provide computation power via the $TAO network.

Its more important than ever to see $tao succeed. Expect criticism, expect praise but most important lets make sure it progresses Aside from being critical we hired multiple people from frontier labs investing 6 figures in our own little compute cluster Actions matters and doubling down to have a meaningful impact

We are not building decentralised AI because it sounds better. We are building it because the off switch cannot belong to one hand. If AI is going to run the economy, you cannot have it gated behind one API, one vendor, one jurisdiction, or one policy mood. Viva la bittensor:native

He Mined Bitcoin in 2009. Now He’s Betting on TAO In this episode, Shizzy sits down with @rBryer23 , an early Bitcoin miner from 2009, to talk through the wild early days of crypto and how it has evolved into the rise of Bittensor and decentralized AI. RL shares his story of mining Bitcoin back when almost nobody understood what it was, then walks through major moments in crypto history including Mt. Gox, Silk Road, Ethereum in 2016, and the lessons learned from each cycle. The conversation then shifts into artificial intelligence, DeAI, TAO, and why Bittensor could become one of the most important networks in crypto. RL also shares his favorite subnet pick, other subnets he is watching, and where he thinks crypto and Bittensor are heading next. Endure is partnering with Synth. @SynthdataCo ( $TAO SN50 ) runs a network of AI models that simulate diverse market conditions and generate synthetic asset price path data. That is exactly the kind of intelligence a decentralized risk network is built to consume. The integration is in development. More soon.
