Itâs only our pal @ElaineCrory with the most marvellously written piece. Please read and share.
More of this please @irishnews congratulations for expanding the views and voices in the newspaper.

A fraud investigation is under way into allegations that lax controls at NI Water meant it has been paying contractors multiple times & for work which was never done. The internal probe emerges as NI Water is asking Stormont for lots more public cash.

While I usually love food in Belfast I tend to get all #italiansmadatfood when it comes to Breton food.
#CrĂȘpes here? Travesty - keep your tuna, sweet sour sauce & mozzarella.
#Kouignamann here? It's bread dough laminated in butter and sugar where is your caramel? Where? đ
Did some #poliscibaking this morning to celebrate the 5(?) years at @HAPPatQUB of fantastic colleague @Jamiejhagen
Belfast this is what a kouignette (individual kouign amann) should look like (đjam optional).
It should look sticky & caramelised! Reject dry imitation đ.
ALT Little kouignettes aka individual kouign amann, breton laminated pastry with bread dough and a silly amount of (vegan) butter and sugar, and strawberry jam.
At Queen's, we abhor violence and condemn without reservation #Islamophobia, #Racism and #Xenophobia in all forms and the recent violence that has taken place in #Belfast.
Our President and @QUBVChancellor, Professor Sir Ian Greer, issued this statement today urging young people not to put their personal futures at risk by partaking in violence and disruption.
As a precautionary measure, to ensure staff and students travelling to campus are not put at any risk, we have made the decision to close the University campus on Friday 9 August.
Staff and students have been informed of interim support and learning measures.
ALT Our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Ian Greer, today urged young people not to put their personal futures at risk by partaking in violence and disruption.âŻ
He was speaking as Queenâs made the decision to close the University campus, including its public facilities, on Friday
9 August as a precautionary measure to ensure staff and students travelling to and from campus are not put at any risk. Staff and students have been informed of interim support and learning measures.âŻ
Appealing directly to those involved in the recent disturbances, he said:
âAt Queen's, we abhor violence and condemn without reservation islamophobia, racism and xenophobia in all forms.
âAs a university community, we are committed to diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging, and to our campus being a safe, secure environment for all staff and students.
ALT âRather, the biggest threat to your future prospects, and the greatest threat to your safety, comes from those who believe that violence is the answer, and that damage and destruction brings progress. None of this is true. We all want to see Belfast as a place that offers opportunities for you and your future.
âViolence will not achieve this. Progress comes through cooperation and dialogue.
âQueenâs is a committed partner for all of the people of Belfast. We work closely with communities to identify and address the challenges exacerbated by social inequalities. We are your university. We hold opportunities for you, as much as anyone else.
âLetâs work together positively to change peopleâs lives. Letâs harness our energies for the wider good, including your own. Please do not jeopardise your future and the future of your city through misguided actions, which will damage your chances in life and damage this great city.â
What Matt saw is clearly not reflected in the stats. Homelessness has been criminalised and cosmetically dispersed - not eradicated. Hungary has the highest levels of corruption in the EU (Transparency International); hereâs a recent crime report: dailynewshungary.com/crime-sâŠ
