The delivery partner took the intact card back to the store. ​The Crime: Seeing a ₹2k card returned, rogue store staff scratched it, stole the balance, and force-marked the order "Delivered" WITHOUT an OTP to cover their tracks. ​While Zepto refunded me, your system auto-deducted the order value from the innocent delivery partner's daily earnings.
