Indeed - An extreme Truth, one that Trump & Co. (apparently) willfully choose to ignore - Iran as an Islamic theocracy - is free to willfully lie, decisive & break agreements made under duress in war - especially with infidels. #Taqiyya- survival under threat. Also: Kitman: Partial truth-telling or omission (concealing parts of the truth). Tawriya: Ambiguous wording that is technically true but misleads the listener. Muruna: "Flexibility" — suspending sharia rules temporarily when needed. Darura (necessity): General principle allowing prohibitions to be lifted in dire need.

The key to saving the environment is not looking backward, it’s moving forward. I realized this the first time I visited Italy twenty years ago. Everything was clean and green. The rivers sparkled. The lesson for me was obvious: the answer is not underdevelopment. The answer is progress. When China was poor, the air was so polluted that people could barely see the blue sky. Today, blue skies have returned to their cities. Development does not only create wealth, it also provides the resources needed to restore and protect the environment. Some environmentalists want us to preserve every aspect of our biodiversity, including the mosquitoes for example, so that researchers can fly in once every ten years from their universities (which build particle accelerators and billion-dollar laboratories with their pocket money), study our ecosystems, and count how many people died from dengue outbreaks. They want to buy our air through carbon credits. If carbon credits were such a great deal, they would be selling them to us, not the other way around. Cleaning every river, lake, and water source in El Salvador, and ensuring they remain clean and sparkling, would cost roughly $12 billion. Where is that money supposed to come from without economic development? Carbon credits? The path forward for our country is the path of Japan and Singapore, not the path of the Congo.

Many Europeans traveled across the U.S. during the World Cup, the journey itself becomes part of the adventure. Stopping at a massive can feel like discovering a whole new world, with its huge stores, endless food options, and unique souvenirs. What seems like a simple gas station to locals can be an unforgettable cultural experience for visitors. The combination of clean facilities, fresh food, snacks, and merchandise shows a different side of American road travel. These small moments are often what make traveling special — discovering everyday things that feel extraordinary somewhere else. Who would have imagined that a quick stop for gas could become one of the favorite memories of a World Cup trip?
For many visitors from Europe, a first trip to Costco during the World Cup becomes a cultural experience on its own. The huge packages, endless variety, and products ranging from food to clothing, coolers, and even hot tubs show a different side of everyday shopping in the U.S. It’s fun to see the surprise and excitement over something Americans sometimes take for granted. Even a simple Costco hot dog becomes a memorable moment because of the combination of taste, size, and value. Travel is not only about seeing famous places; sometimes it’s about discovering small everyday differences between cultures. Who would have thought a warehouse store could become one of the highlights of a World Cup trip?

World Cup tourists fall in love with middle America — raving about Waffle House at 1 a.m., Buc-ee's gas stations, and strangers driving them to stadiums in the rain. Oxford Economics expects 1.24 million international visitors for the tournament, and their viral posts are showcasing a side of the country most foreign media never covers.

Deal or No Deal Once again the President called off the military action for a deal that is oh so close to signing but not signed. Once again the markets recover and oil prices are somewhat reduced. And once again, the Iranian regime flaunts the world with perhaps some inside who want to cave to America and others who want to keep fighting and will never give in. Meanwhile the fate of this presidency and perhaps the next rides on the outcome of the conflict. The president must get the nuclear material, get the strait and end the basic conflict by eroding the missiles and support for terror. Getting the nuclear material but letting Hezbollah control Lebanon is not a win and is just spin. Iran is a thousand miles from Israel and has no border or land conflict — its non nuclear actions supporting terrorists and destabilizing the other countries that region is the core How likely is it Iran is really going to give up all its nuclear and territorial control through proxies? Does not seem likely without finishing the military job but at this point all we can do is wait and see what the president delivers from an evil regime that cannot be trusted.

"Now the intelligence community itself acknowledges a vast US-funded biolab network." The 'secret' program that Tulsi outed has been publicly acknowledged for decades, and even has .gov websites talking about what they do. No one said they were secret, except the conspiracy theorists who see "biolab" and can't comprehend anything beyond that.
The Ukraine biolab story has completed its journey: "Conspiracy theory" → "Russian disinformation" → "Fact-checked" → Official government disclosure. For years, anyone asking questions was smeared and censored. Now the intelligence community itself acknowledges a vast US-funded biolab network.

TAXPAYER RISK: Obama Presidential Center's $470M endowment sits at just $1M as subcontractors claim they're owed millions days before grand opening. The fund was promised as an insurance policy so Chicago taxpayers wouldn't get stuck covering future costs on the 99-year deal. Construction costs have ballooned from $330M to at least $850M. The Obama Foundation says the center is 'fully funded' and plans to make 'significant investments' in the endowment in coming years — but critics say a promise to raise money later is not the same as having a funded backstop in place.

#Breaking When will the reality of this whole growing Iran quagmire finally sink in? It's INCREASINGLY obvious that any MOU - once "signed" will likely fail in it's initial basic objectives. Also, that the supposedly 60 days of negotiations triggered by a signed MOU to resolve the pesky REAL details on nuclear issues, Hormuz fees, release of $-Billions to Iran, etc - will drag on unresolved for many months. Am I just a pessimist ? Or am I a realist looking at the currently stalled out glorious plans that were compiled for Gaza-Hamas by the SAME people that Trump has working on the Iran deal - Whitkoff-Kushner et al. Where is the "Board of Peace" that came into being - last year - at least on paper.? On top of all that: There is still NO definitive, high-confidence public proof that Mojtaba Khamenei is both alive and functioning with a fully operational brain exercising real authority. The situation is murky, with strong indications that IRGC generals are largely running the show while using his name and position for legitimacy.

A video released by IRGC-affiliated media appears to show a gathering outside the Foreign Ministry’s representative office in Mashhad on Saturday evening where protesters chant, “Death to Araghchi, the dishonorable compromiser and infiltrator.” The hardliners have been criticizing the foreign ministry and the negotiating team in recent days, accusing them of giving too many concessions to the United States in the deal which the US and Pakistan say will be signed on Sunday.

🚨🇮🇷 Internal rift deepens in Iran. Radical IRGC loyalists have gathered to protest against FM Araghchi and Speaker Ghalibaf. The hardliners are fiercely rejecting the upcoming Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S., chanting against concessions and demanding a return to military confrontation.

Vance says "WW2 ended with some kind of negotiation" 👇 Is he really that clueless about history? 🤯
JD Vance: If you go back to WW2 or every major conflict in human history, they all ended with some kind of negotiation.

Yet another VLCC (which has been violating US OFAC sanctions on Iran and Venezuela over the past five years) has managed to slip past the US Navy blockade line. Did she do anything fancy? Nahh. The crew simply switched off her AIS transponder. Yet another two million barrels of storage space available, should Iran need it. How are those peace talks coming along? #OOTT #IranWar #Tankers (Satellite imagery by ESA Copernicus Sentinel-2)

Stop -There is NO DEAL with those points agreed. It's merely the U.S. "wish-list". The current / ONLY tussle is the MOU that reportedly opens up Hormuz & sets a 60 day window to negotiate specifics - primarily focused on how much of Iran's nuke ambitions will be curbed for specific periods of time. There is no piece of paper that can "ENSURE long term peace in the ME.

Indeed - Trump has clearly dropped (abandoned?) ICBMs (that will soon enough reach the USA) as well as terrorist funding for: Hamas ~ Hezbollah ~ Houthis. As well as promises to Iran's citizens: "overwhelming strength" to overthrow the regime. All for a shaky "Nuke Deal"?

🇮🇱 KATZ: As reports grow of an imminent U.S.-Iran agreement, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz signaled that Israel is preparing to act militarily if necessary to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions. “Israel must ensure that, in the future as well, we retain the ability to act independently to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons,” Katz said. “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have instructed the IDF to prepare accordingly.” Katz said President Trump is pursuing an agreement “based on American interests, including the shared interest with Israel of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons,” but added that Israel expects any deal to also address Iran’s missile program and terrorist proxies. He reaffirmed that Israel will remain in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria, declaring: “Our security doctrine is sharp and clear. We act against both nearby and distant threats, and we strive for decisive outcomes rather than compromises and concessions.” Katz pledged Israel would continue confronting the Iranian-led “Shiite axis of evil” and the “Sunni axis of evil led by the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Israeli Defense Minister Katz: Israel will not withdraw from its security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.
