Thank you to @Voice4Equity for facilitating a policy workshop for girls with the students of @UniondaleUFSD and @MalverneUFSD with Dr. Alicia Thompson and Ronique Hicks from Discovery Education. Our girls felt heard and affirmed and they learned how to affect policy change.

I am reading David Grann's Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. It's not a light read, but it sure sheds greater light on how our native nations in the United States have been mistreated and dehumanized. Filling in the history gaps in education!
