Siege of Kut Al Amara: Dec 1915 - Apr 1916.
An operating theatre showing the rudimentary nature of the medical facilities during the siege.
The besieged Indian 6th Division suffered almost 4, 000 casualties - including over 700 men dying of disease in the unsanitary conditions.

Today marks the 110th anniversary of the raid on Sunderland by
German Navy Zeppelin L11 commanded by Korvettenkapitan Victor Schütze. The raid caused 22 fatalities & 128 injuries.
5 weeks later L11 was used in observing ship movements during the Battle of Jutland.
