13 February 1935 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Eliza Louise Gazan, was born in Brielle. In September 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

February, 1942 | A member of the Jewish Order Service (Judischer Ordnungsdienst) with two children during the first deportations in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto (occupied Poland). It will last until May 1942 and 55k of the 200k Jews in the ghetto will be deported to the Kulmhof.

Superb exhibition - from front line all the way back to hospitals around the UK, this exhibition shows the full story and the massive part played by hospital trains and the railway network
WW1 Ambulance trains at the National Railway Museum. They carried as many patients as modern hospitals have beds!
