Morning thoughts : Back in June 2022, I took a trip to Peru to fulfill a dream and film the entirety of my creative process and journey of capturing a specific lake I found on Google Earth a few years earlier. However, coming back from the trip, something felt off, and I decided to let the project sit for a year. I thought I had lost this dream forever. Thinking of it brought a lot of sadness and anxiety. But I just couldn’t let it go. This time away from the project gave me the clarity needed to come up with new ideas but also gave me a new perspective on everything I thought was « wrong » with it. A veil has been lifted off. After many months of working on it and trusting my vision, new opportunities arose. The film was going to be played in NYC during a prominent BTC event and the teaser showcased on Timesquare. Along the way, I met a very special person that saw my passion and vision for my art, and believed in me. So my advice, if you’re struggling with a piece of art or a project is to step away from it and give it time. Don’t force it. Keep believing in it and let the universe take care of the rest. Excited to share the documentary with you all!
