Sewage problems in River Roding, caused partly by illegal outfalls near Ilford, including in its tributary Alders Brook in Aldersbrook are in latest Private Eye. I recently saw a big write-up for Redbridge Council's plans to transform the river - date 2005. They're talking still.

BREAKING: Shell made £5BN Over twice last Q1. It’s blood money. Blood from the collapse of our systems - weather, seas, ice, rivers & forests. Blood from the victims of war in Iran. While our bills, food costs & fuel prices rise; we burn, and Shell make bank.

We'll probably screen the same 13-minute video at our 23 Feb meeting. Warning: contains lethal scenarios for 2050 that are no longer low probability.
