For the life of me, I cannot understand why Mississippi's human trafficking fund sent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to a radical anti-ICE, anti-immigration enforcement nonprofit.
As you see below, tons of your money was given to a non-profit called El Pueblo.
El Pueblo actually spends their time going to anti-ICE protests and lobbying against immigration enforcement bill in our legislature. Will post more screenshots in the comments as proof.
Imagine the people that money could have actually helped escape human trafficking.
This is the kind of stuff that defies all common sense--the stuff that taxpayers want stopped.
As Auditor, I will always tell you how your taxpayer dollars are spent, even when it's ugly or uncomfortable for the powerbrokers to hear.
