Stop selling. It’s killing your sales. The clients you want aren’t fooled by an agenda to “get them to buy.” I sold mortgage loans for 30 years without “selling” anything. I asked people about their situation, goals, and constraints — then used my experience to help them solve their problem. For some, it was a dream home. For others, a divorce deadline. For others, speed and flexibility to remodel and sell. Every situation was different. Solving that was the work. Alignment and commitment beat agenda and influence. If you’re a solo entrepreneur or salesperson, that should feel like relief.

You should be hyper testing 3-5 offers bi-weekly via outbound to see which one generates the most TOF interest. (Meetings on your calendar) Zero fulfilment in mind, forget about providing the service and focus 100% on collecting cash. With $50K - $100K tucked away you can figure out ops and service delivery afterwards. We barely do fulfilment, all our offers include back end partners who execute the service for us because we don't run offers, we build networks of service providers and focus solely on marketing and sales. 2-3 clients will allow you to collect $50K - $100K, charge 10x more and promise 10x less - it fucking works. Charge $25-$75K/quarter per engagement. If you're just starting, know outbound works - don't be scared to invest in your infra. Send 50K emails as fast as you can per offer, validate your thesis as fast as possible. Follow his advice and you will remain broke and lose 1-2 years of your life just slugging away with this "focus on 1 offer at a time" model you will most likely be in the negative. RT Comment "FAST" I'll send you 4 doc's that will rewire your brain on offer creation, speed and how you can start charging 10x more without ever doing fulfilment.
If you're just starting out... Focus on: - 1 offer - 1 outreach channel - 1 sub-niche Laser focus>>>

READ the f*cking labels! If the label on food packaging says “Natural Flavors” and/or contains words that you cannot equate to actual food, it is complete garbage. In America, our government conspires with Big Food corporations to allow this shit into our grocery stores. As a result, we have the highest levels of obesity, diabetes and heart disease per capita. Not so in Europe and Asia. They don’t allow chemicals into their food supply.

Keep showing up every day. Do some things that push things forward and move the needle even just a little bit. Live with integrity by cleaning up your shit and feel the energy move through you. Connect with nature. Lift heavy things with good form and intentionality.

Lifting weights builds muscle. But the purpose behind all that heavy lifting will shape and guide your life. Are you lifting for vanity (ego energy) or are you lifting for longevity (inner peace and joy energy)? I’m probably around 75% longevity and 25% vanity. However, at the end of the day, going to the gym consistently is what counts. You don’t need to go every day. But 1 to 2 days per week is not enough.

Goals vs. Systems Planning vs. Action Thoughts vs. Emotions Starting vs. Completing Joy vs. Fulfillment Building vs. Selling Now, replace “vs.” with “&” and watch the results pour in. They’re all important but at different parts of the process. Did I miss something?

“Transfer” is the mental practice whereby a learner’s mastery of knowledge or skills in one context enables them to apply that knowledge or skill in a different context. I just watched a series of videos and posts about working out at the gym and about relationships. But I applied those lessons towards sales and business growth. Holy Sh*t!!! 🤯 Mind blown.

As a kid, I used to be obsessed with my favorite football team/dynasty (Oakland Raiders in the ‘70’s). They moved three times and I moved on. Today, I’m obsessed with helping people building their personal brand (and dynasty). I heard there’s a game on today. Not interested.

You start by starting. Just get up and take a little bit of action in the general direction you want to go in. Within minutes, you’ll notice something that sparks your curiosity. Follow it and see where it goes. Congratulations! You discovered momentum. You got this.

Rejected? Is that good or bad? It doesn’t matter. Write down what you learned. Stressed? Is that good or bad? It also doesn’t matter. Write down the lessons in it. Criticized? Is that good or bad? It also does not matter. Write about what others said and then look for the gold in it for yourself. Don’t let so-called “problems” go by without stealing the opportunity to discover its lessons. Get more problems (and lessons) for the next year and you will be unrecognizable.

There's a shocking fact about AI that nobody tells you: You can catch up to the public AI research frontier in just 2 weeks. Yes, really. I've built a $150M annual revenue startup over the last 8 years and If I were to start a company today, I’d drop everything and go all-in on AI. But like many busy software builders, I felt lost—overwhelmed by the noisy, crowded and fast-moving modern AI landscape. And I wasn’t alone. So I spent my entire holiday diving deep into AI research—reading 30 papers, watching hours of lectures, analyzing trends, and catching up to the research frontier. ✨ Here’s what I learned: - You don’t need months (or years) to catch up. - You don’t need a PhD or decades of ML experience. - You need fewer than 20 papers and 2 weeks to understand the major breakthroughs shaping AI today. It's because the technology is extremely nascent and most techniques that came before are no longer relevant: - ChatGPT is barely 2 years old and Transformers are only 7 years old. - Most game-changing discoveries happened within the last 4 years, driven by a few breakthrough ideas, scaling laws, and efficient matrix multiplication. The biggest secret? Many groundbreaking AI papers with thousands of citations are surprisingly simple and applied, like adding "let's think step by step" to the prompt, or simply asking the LLM over and over again to improve its answer (Self-Refine). I realized there are tons of founders and builders in the same boat—wanting to dive deeper into AI but unsure where to start. I've created an essential AI Guide that helped me catch up, in just 2 weeks, to the frontier of public AI research to figure out where the next opportunities and gaps were: - Curated list of only the most important papers - Simple explanations of key concepts - Clear pathway to understanding the frontier of modern AI It’s perfect for: - Founders expanding into AI - Builders wanting to innovate at the frontier of AI - Investors looking to separate the signal from the noise 👇 Want the full guide? - Like and Share this post - Comment "AI Guide" - I'll send you the complete guide (ps, I’m also teaming up with @VishalVasishth, co-founder of @obviousvc with @ev (focused on large-scale societal impact companies like Twitter, Medium, Beyond Meat), to host a small meetup to discuss what's working and needs to be solved in the AI stack in SF. Message me if you're interested)

I’m keeping my head clean and clear. I’m keeping my emotions in check and stable. I’m keeping my body moving and pushing and pulling heavy things. I’m taking lots of small actions everyday with the clients’ goals in mind. And I’m not taking on excessive risks with my money. Life is really good even if there are distractions coming at me from all sides and angles. Even when other people’s emotions are swinging wide. Don’t think for one second that you have the ability or know-how to regulate other people’s emotions. You don’t! Why would you even attempt doing that? You would be stealing the opportunity away from them to discover and apply their own self-regulation superpowers.

Love...the...pain. If your life (or some aspect of your life) is falling apart, embrace it. Don't try to control it. Let it work itself out through you. Stop fighting it or pushing against it. This is the fastest way to get through a difficult time. This is also the way to moving forward.

What is your purpose for writing online? Mine is to find ways to better serve and help others. (This is a selfish act). The more I teach others something, the more I learn that thing. Even when I know very little about that thing. Why? Because I want to grow and learn. And because I’m curious AF.
