Great joint working @CFRS, @NWAS and @GNairambulance today in #Shap. Adult male with injuries meant he couldn't walk down the ladder of the scaffold. Working at height equipment was used to safely lower him down. @GNairambulance then air lifted him to hospital.

Crews from Kirby Stephen, Kendal and Sedbergh along with a team from the mountain rescue and a vet rescued a horse which had become trapped in deep mud at Ravenstonedale on Saturday evening. Impressive pictures! #notjustputtingoutfires #animalrescue
