Nasscom, in partnership with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, had the privilege of hosting Senator Dr. Melanie Leonhard, Minister, Ministry of Economy, Labour and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of
@Senat_Hamburg , and her delegation in India. The engagement aimed to strengthen Hamburg–India innovation ties.
The session opened with welcome remarks by Madhusoothanan Vijay, Regional Director,
@IndoGerman, followed by Senator Dr. Leonhard’s address outlining Hamburg’s economic and innovation priorities.
Shreya Sharma, Director & Head, Deeptech & Startups at
@nasscom, presented India’s tech landscape and policy enablers, highlighting the rise of Deeptech, AI-led transformation, and global collaboration opportunities.
The spotlight then moved to startup pitches, featuring select Nasscom Deeptech startups along with
@AuleSpace, Rhygen, Rekise, and YuVerse, each showcasing cutting-edge solutions across mobility and emerging technologies.
A panel discussion moderated by Professor Kabel on Scaling Innovation Across Borders explored partnership models, market access, and co-innovation pathways.
The agenda concluded with a coffee break and networking session, followed by a guided tour of Nasscom Deeptech’s startup ecosystem and the Centres of Excellence in IoT and AI, wrapping up with closing reflections.
