She also speaks about the humiliation she faced in a room with UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese and many Free Palestine activists. In response to a post with the quote, Francesca's writes to a mother who lost her innocent child, "Change medication." This is not some random person spreading hate on the internet. This is a United Nations Special Rapporteur, who would rather post a retort to a grieving mother than condemn terrorists who murdered, raped, and kidnapped civilians.

📣🚨 FSU Victory!! The Free Speech Union has just heard from South Wales Police that it has withdrawn its guidance on “anti-Muslim hostility”. The force had effectively adopted its own Islamic blasphemy law, instructing officers to record any conversation that went beyond “legitimate” discussion of Islam. Under this guidance, criticism of Islam could have been recorded as an anti-social behaviour incident and potentially appeared on DBS checks, affecting someone’s ability to work as a teacher, carer, or in other regulated professions. South Wales Police has backed down because the Free Speech Union threatened them with a judicial review if it chose to press ahead with the policy. The force has described this move as a “pause” to the guidance — but we think it is highly unlikely to return. We must also thank Shadow Equalities Minister @ClaireCoutinho for referring South Wales Police to the Equality and Human Rights Commission after we brought this issue to her attention. Blasphemy laws were abolished by Parliament 18 years ago. We must not allow them to return through the back door. Andrew Gilligan asks why an organisation like the National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) is allowed to be anywhere near the profession of law enforcement. NAMP has branded Zionism “one of the manifestations of anti-Muslim hatred, stripping Muslims of their humanity”. These inflammatory claims were made in a NAMP policy paper on “confronting anti-Muslim hatred”, which also described the Israel Defense Forces as a “Zionist terrorist group”. The organisation is affiliated with at least 16 of Britain’s 43 police forces and has a formal national role within policing. It has also received praise from the College of Policing. NAMP works with the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), including through workshops and presentations to the NPCC’s counter-terrorism advisory group. It has called for the term “Islamist terrorism” to be abandoned, arguing that “its use by the police contributes to faith hate crime”. As Gilligan notes, this is despite the fact that, since 1999, 94 per cent of terrorist deaths in Britain have been caused by Islamists. Policy Exchange’s David Spencer has argued that a central element of the crisis consuming British policing is the diversion of officers from their core task: keeping the public safe, preventing crime and catching criminals.
