I think Roger Craig was buried behind other great RBs from the 80s, e.g. John Riggins, Marcus Allen, Eric Dickerson, Walter Payton, and Tony Dorsett; and overlapped with an incredible 90s RB group, e.g. Emmitt Smith, Thurman Thomas, Barry Sanders.

Roger Craig isn’t in the HOF (yet) because he had only 1,000 3x in 11 seasons. Great player, yes, but only 3 stellar seasons combined with playing on a loaded team hurt him.
