They told us it was impossible. We did it anyways. Today we announce Zenith. POV: You wake up H2 2026 and Ethereum‘s application layer has fully teleported into Wall Street’s blockchain of choice. We are that protocol, now opening a direct on-ramp between the world’s largest programmable and institutional blockchain ecosystems.

Solidity or Rust-based apps can deploy on Canton Mainnet with protocol-level atomic composability. The infrastructure layer built by @ZenithFdn connects EVM Rust development environments to the Global Synchronizer natively, without rearchitecting in Daml. @HeslinKim explains.
At @ZenithFdn we imagined, “what if Canton’s global synchronizer was able to include every L1?” However, we realized, in practice, the solution to minimizing attack vectors and bridging risks was instead to bring the application layer of these L1s natively and securely into @CantonNetwork. With our infrastructure, built over the last 1.5 years, instead of rearchitecting a Web3 product in DAML with its purpose-built intricacies, any Solidity or Rust based repo can now be deployed with protocol-level atomic composability in Canton Mainnet. The Zenith Stack can now intertwine all of the world’s most robust and mature DeFi products with the global capital markets in the Canton ecosystem. Our customer base and TAM is… all of Web3. Zenith is the event horizon of Canton’s black hole dominance. Which products do you think will be first? Zth.

Canton was purpose-built for what institutions actually need: privacy, compliance, atomic settlement, governance frameworks they can actually operate within. A decade of building with regulators produced the network that JPMorgan, DTCC, Goldman Sachs, and Visa now depend on for live production operations. What it didn't have was an entry point for the developer ecosystem that built most of DeFi's innovation. Solidity developers, Hardhat configs, MetaMask wallets, none of it was compatible with @CantonNetwork's native environment. The institutional infrastructure existed, but the access layer didn't. Zenith is the on-ramp that opens this infrastructure to 31,800 active Ethereum developers. Both sides get what they need, neither has to compromise on what makes them work. Zth.

Ethereum's developer ecosystem and Canton's institutional infrastructure have been building toward the same destination from different directions, Zenith is where they connect. And the economic model behind it matters as much as the architecture. Every EVM transaction on Zenith is native @CantonNetwork activity, consuming Global Synchronizer traffic, triggering $CC burn through Canton's standard traffic mechanics, and contributing to the minting rights that reward builders driving real usage. No extraction, no value leaving the network, the burn-mint equilibrium that governs Canton's token supply extends fully to cover EVM activity. As Zenith scales, the EVM-generated demand for Canton traffic grows with it. This is what non-extractive execution looks like in practice. The full breakdown is in Understanding Canton #1: zenith.network/resources/blo… Zth.

Canton's minting schedule now prioritizes real application usage. Application providers receive 62% of gross minting based on traffic generated on the Global Synchronizer. @ZenithFdn breaks down the reward structure for Super Validators and builders.
In Canton's bootstrapping phase, Super Validators received 80% of all newly minted $CC. The network needed infrastructure before it needed applications and the minting schedule reflected that priority directly. That balance has now shifted decisively. From the 1.5-year mark onward, 62% of the gross minting budget flows to application providers based on the real traffic their users generate on the Global Synchronizer. Super Validator allocations have declined to 20% and the schedule continues moving in this direction through Canton's first decade, ultimately allocating 75% to applications at steady state. For builders deploying on Zenith, this matters directly. Applications that drive genuine usage on @CantonNetwork participate in this reward pool through a traffic-based model that measures actual network contribution. The full breakdown is in Understanding Canton #1: zenith.network/resources/blo… Zth.

Canton's burn-mint equilibrium connects supply dynamics directly to real network usage. @ZenithFdn breaks it down from first principles in their Understanding Canton series.
Everyone has an opinion on $CC. Far fewer people understand how it actually works under the hood. Canton Coin's tokenomics are more carefully designed than most coverage suggests and the discussions happening around it deserve a more precise foundation than speculation. We started a series of articles to provide exactly that. Understanding Canton #1 blog unpacks Canton Coin from the first principles: burn-mint equilibrium, traffic model, minting curve, and how supply dynamics connect to real network usage. First in a series of articles breaking down @CantonNetwork's core building blocks one at a time. Read it: zenith.network/resources/blo… Zth.

Excited to be speaking at the Philippine Blockchain Week (@philippinebc_wk) in Manila and dive into how @ZenithFdn is accelerating real-world adoption across Asia and beyond. @CantonNetwork is bringing global institutions and enterprises onchain at scale powering synchronized, privacy-enabled markets with trillions in monthly volume alongside partners like JPMorgan, DTCC, Nasdaq, and more. Zenith serves as the seamless EVM/SVM conduit to Canton, letting developers deploy unmodified Solidity (and soon Rust/Solana) apps that atomically compose with Canton’s institutional rails. No bridges, no rewrites, just direct access to enterprise liquidity, app rewards, and synchronized finality. The Philippines is perfectly ripe for this next wave of digital innovation: - One of the world’s highest crypto adoption rates, with ~10-13% of the population actively using crypto (millions of users) and strong rankings in global indices. - Massive remittance economy where stablecoins and digital payments are already transforming lives. - High mobile/smartphone penetration (~73%), surging internet access (~80-89%), and a young, tech-savvy demographic driving digital wallets and play-to-earn innovation. From grassroots crypto enthusiasm to institutional-grade infrastructure, the Philippines is poised to be a key figure in Southeast Asia’s blockchain future. Can’t wait to connect with builders, leaders, and innovators at PBW. Let’s synergize, deploy, and build the onchain economy together! See you in Manila, June 19-21. 🎟️ Zth.

Our Head of Ecosystem @GArentoft will be live at Canton Builders Office Hours on June 10th to walk through what building on Zenith actually looks like and answer questions directly. Zenith is Canton's native EVM (and soon SVM) execution layer, opening Canton's institutional infrastructure to every Ethereum developer without requiring a single line of Solidity code to change. Deploy existing contracts, use familiar tooling, and compose atomically with the ecosystem where global finance already operates at scale. If you're an Ethereum developer curious about @CantonNetwork, this is the session to join. Zth.
Canton Builders Office Hours returns June 10th. This session features @FiveNorthHQ and @ZenithFdn, the teams behind Canton's two builder pathways. Native Daml development through 5North. Solidity and EVM compatibility through Zenith. Both teams will be live to walk through their tooling and answer questions.

Canton-native assets composing with DeFi protocols and settling back on Canton within the same consensus mechanism, no bridge risk, no exposure window, all in a single transaction. @ZenithFdn on what that looks like in practice. @GArentoft at EDAS Payments Day.
DeFi spent a decade building the financial primitives that institutional finance has been watching closely: lending protocols, AMMs, collateral management, yield mechanics. At the same time, institutional finance was building the infrastructure DeFi lacked - privacy, compliance, settlement at scale - on rails that most DeFi developers couldn't reach. Zenith is the connection between them. As Canton's official EVM (and soon SVM) execution layer, Zenith gives every DeFi protocol built on Ethereum direct atomic composability with Canton's institutional ecosystem. In a single transaction, a Canton-native asset can move to Zenith, be used as collateral in a lending protocol, generate yield, swap to another asset, and settle back on @CantonNetwork, all within the same consensus mechanism, with no bridge risk and no window of exposure between steps. @GArentoft breaks down what that looks like from the inside in EDAS Payments Day in Miami. Zth.

JUST IN: The first piece of Understanding Canton series is out! If you've been trying to wrap your head around how @CantonNetwork's tokenomics actually work, this is the place to start. Canton Coin has no pre-mine, no founder allocation, and no VC distribution. Every $CC in circulation was minted through active network participation after the Global Synchronizer went live. The mechanics behind that model, how burns and minting work, who earns what and why, how the minting curve has shifted from infrastructure bootstrapping toward application rewards, and how Zenith's EVM activity feeds into the same economic loop, are covered in full in Blog #1. zenith.network/resources/blo… Zth.
