Siren's Curse at Cedar Point gave riders quite the experience on Saturday as it got stuck while vertically tilted. This lasted almost 30 minutes, with riders facing straight down. A mechanic had to manually return riders to an upright position from the top. šŸ“¹: Stephanie Nilges

Ray’s Rock - Omaha Beach On the morning of June 6, 1944, 23 year old Staff Sergeant Arnold ā€œRayā€ Lambert came ashore with the first wave of the 1st Infantry Division on the eastern side of Omaha Beach. At this small patch of concrete he saved nearly 20 lives: The division came under intense fire from several German bunkers surrounding the entrance to the Colville Draw (one of two exits off Omaha Beach). Ray, a medic, immediately went to work. He was shot in the arm. Moments later he was hit by shrapnel in the leg, but Ray kept pulling men to safety. He pulled nearly 20 wounded soldiers to cover behind this 8ft wide obstacle, treating each soldier before going out in search of others. After several hours under fire, while pulling a wounded soldier from the ocean, he was struck by a landing craft. It dropped its ramp on top of him, breaking his back. He fell face down in the water, drowning. The craft backed up and nearby soldiers pulled an unconscious Ray to safety, eventually evacuating him off the beach. Remarkably, Ray had already earned two Silver Stars and three Purple Hearts in Sicily and North Africa, prior to landing in France. But here in Normandy his war would end. He awoke in a hospital back in England a day later. In the next bed over was his brother, who had also been wounded at Omaha. When asked about his work on D-Day, Ray simply said, ā€œI did what I was called to do.ā€ Ray Lambert passed in 2021 at 100 years old. He exemplified the best of American grit and why remembering this day is so important.

Absolutely devastating take down of Platner supporting Democrats by @bungarsargon
POWERFUL: @BUngarSargon SLAMS Graham Platner and Democrats lining up to defend him... "Well, I'll just say my grandfather's whole family was murdered in the Sobibor concentration camp. Graham Platner doesn't just have a Nazi tattoo. For 18 years, he had a tattoo of the concentration camp guards on his chest, and he knew what it was. He knew what it was. And to hear people compare that to anything else in the public sphere in America is insane. And it is insanely offensive. These people who are defending him called me, and every other MAGA person a Nazi for ten years, because we voted for someone who we thought would improve the lives of working-class Americans, and now they are lining up and defending a guy who had a Nazi tattoo -- which he knew about -- for 18 years. It is so insane to act like anything Donald Trump did was anywhere close to having a Taunton Cup on his chest for 18 years. This guy is a Nazi, and Democrats are lining up behind him because they think he can win."

Here's 9 minutes of comedy. The MSM claimed that Biden promising to not pardon his son Hunter was proof that the DOJ was not weaponized against Trump and also proof of Joe Biden's incredible character. Not too long after, Biden pardoned Hunter. šŸ˜‚

And I’m still wondering why your team thought I’d want to play footsy with a guy who is a Nazi?
Yesterday we started running this ad during the Red Sox game. Midway through the game the ad was taken down by the station (which is owned by Red Sox ownership). And then the Sox blew a 4-0 lead.

The Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates met yesterday to discuss an ordinance aimed at further restricting ICE operations on Cape Cod. This man said what millions of Americans are thinking but are too afraid to say out loud: ā€œI am not an uncompassionate individual. But my generosity has been abused, and I am sick of it! I am sick of being treated as an indentured servant to foreign nationals in my country and in my community. And I don't give a damn whose feelings that hurts.ā€ There was a whole lot of pear-clutching afterward. @HAD_ENOUGH_22 @mrp035 @Dan142160151137 @TownofDennis @Yarmouth_MA @CapeCodGov @BarnstableMA @EROBoston @DHSgov @RealTomHoman

Smokey and the Bandit turns 49 today. If it weren’t for a space saga from a galaxy far, far away, it would’ve been '77’s biggest hit. Burt Reynolds starred, but Jackie Gleason flat-out steals the movie. Now, gimme a diablo sandwich and a Dr Pepper, ’cause I’m in a goddamn hurry.
