Bit of a gross one but this is actually a type of mold! It is known as 'Dog Vomit Slime Mold' (or Scrambled Egg Slime) and grows generally on mulched wood in wet conditions. This one is growing on what looks like slug slime! #mold #nature #fungus #plants #wood

We built a nest for a 'mouse' yesterday to see how moss/sticks/leaves insulate them during hibernation. Although it was part of my nature activity training, I find myself enjoying it like the children it is meant for! @SayersCroft_ #outdoors #instructor #training
