Crazy that people who think winning subjective awards is more important than winning an objective sport actually exist.
I get the stupid ring culture putting some of these players ahead, but JASON FUCKING KIDD??? 6-time All-NBA 9-time All-NBA Defense NBA champion The James Harden debate is ruined. It should be disrespectful to even compare the two, but ring culture is toxic.

Brunson turned around maybe the worst franchise in pro sports. He signed there for less. He chose the guys who should play with him. He then carried them to a title. Better than Harden is an understatement. Brunson is better than far better players than Harden.
Jalen Brunson isn’t even a top 5 player in the league RIGHT NOW but you want me to believe he’s better than prime James harden😭 he’s great but yall are tripping

Story about microloans is incredible. Greedy usurers wanted more money. Got academics to claim high interest loans to the poor was good for them. Nobody called them out on such clear bullshit. Now the poor suffer more as a result.
Here is an early look at the front page of today's Wall Street Journal on.wsj.com/4ooZLOH

Can Tex Tech fans actually believe this? Has to be one of the most delusional takes of all time, lmao.
Replying to @AndrewPDoak
This isn’t about integrity of the game. They’re upset because Texas Tech has become a legitimate threat on the national college football landscape. It ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun.

Cfb fans finally understanding the level of brilliance on the bench that lawyers have to often deal with.

Most delusional fan base on here.
New York has a future Hall of Fame Center who's going to fight Victor Wembanyama tooth and nail but San Antonio doesn't have anyone who can compete against Jalen Brunson. 2026 NBA #Playoff Statistics: Points: Victor Wembanyama: 23.2. Karl-Anthony Towns: 16.9. Rebounds: Victor Wembanyama: 10.8. Karl-Anthony Towns: 10.6. Rebound Percentage: Karl-Anthony Towns: 21%. Victor Wembanyama: 18%. Assists: Karl-Anthony Towns: 5.9. Victor Wembanyama: 2.7. Blocks: Victor Wembanyama: 3.5. Karl-Anthony Towns: 1.4. Steals: Karl-Anthony Towns: 1.2. Victor Wembanyama: 0.9. FG%: Karl-Anthony Towns: .572%. Victor Wembanyama: .510%. 3 PT%: Karl-Anthony Towns: .489%. Victor Wembanyama: .370%. FT%: Karl-Anthony Towns: .891%. Victor Wembanyama: .870%. True Shooting Percentage: Karl-Anthony Towns: .713%. Victor Wembanyama: .636%. Points/Rebounds/Assists/Blocks/Steals (Combined): Victor Wembanyama: 41.1. Karl-Anthony Towns: 36.0. Karl-Anthony Towns isn't going to back down from Victor Wembanyama. Plus/Minus: Karl-Anthony Towns 214 ( 15.2 Per Game). Victor Wembanyama: 188 ( 11.0 Per Game). Offensive Win Share: Karl-Anthony Towns: 1.9. Victor Wembanyama: 1.6. Defensive Win Share: Victor Wembanyama: 1.4. Karl-Anthony Towns: 1.1. Overall Win Share: Victor Wembanyama: 3.1. Karl-Anthony Towns: 3.0. Win Share Per 48 Minutes: Karl-Anthony Towns: .346. Victor Wembanyama: .265. VORP: Victor Wembanyama: 1.6. Karl-Anthony Towns: 1.5. OBPM: Karl-Anthony Towns: 5.6. Victor Wembanyama: 5.5. DBPM: Karl-Anthony Towns: 6.3. Victor Wembanyama: 4.2. Overall BPM: Karl-Anthony Towns: 11.9. Victor Wembanyama: 9.7. Player Efficiency Rating: Victor Wembanyama: 27.6. Karl-Anthony Towns: 27.3. Offensive Rating: Karl-Anthony Towns 137. Victor Wembanyama: 122. Defensive Rating: Karl-Anthony Towns: 99. Victor Wembanyama: 99. 23 Categories: Karl-Anthony Towns = 14. ✅ Victor Wembanyama: 8. ❌ (They're both tied in Defensive Rating). Karl-Anthony Towns checks most of the boxes and the only reason why Victor Wembanyama has Karl-Anthony Towns beat in Points and Rebounds Per game is because Victor Wembanyama plays more minutes per game than Karl-Anthony Towns (32.5 MPG vs. 30.2 MPG). But the reason why Karl-Anthony Towns has Victor Wembanyama beat throughout 9 of the 13 deep advanced analytic statistics (9-4) is because Karl-Anthony Towns has been more dominant than Victor Wembanyama has throughout the entire Playoffs thus far. Anyone who thinks San Antonio has an advantage @ Center and/or thinks Victor Wembanyama is more impactful than Karl-Anthony Towns, A.) Better watch the film and B.) Better review the overall Statistics because Victor Wembanyama being "better" than Karl-Anthony Towns is nothing more than (fake) ESPN media driven (hype) of a European player.

NY fans really thinking the Knicks are going to beat the Spurs will make this even more entertaining.
You can tell by reading the replies who hasn’t watched any of the WCF. If McCain and Wallace got off what y’all think Brunson gonna do. Them young boys have no answers for OG or bridges

The biggest problem with teachers is their lack of expertise. Theyre supposed to be extremely knowledgeable but often know less than the average white collar adult about most things. The best teaching techniques won't overcome this.
People keep commenting on my posts, insulting teachers for failing to produce results. Let me be clear: there are teachers who are more effective. However, the vast majority of professional development is a complete waste of time. Teacher prep programs tend not to address the real issues in education. Many teachers are just winging it. There are effective ways to reach students, but not all teachers know these methods. I call schools the wild wild west, where everyone does what they personally think is best.

Know a teacher who thought Budapest was a Caribbean island. Know another who didnt know Germany was involved in WWI. Takes an extreme lack of intellectual curiosity to reach adulthood with such ignorance. No teaching technique can possibly make people like that good teachers.

Miami got into the playoff because of a non-conference win, over another team due to non-conference losses. Texas should want to face QB-less Tex Tech in week one.
Texas gains NOTHING by agreeing to this game. The committee made it CLEAR that big out of conference games would not be rewarded. Want to improve your strength of schedule? Don’t play in the POVERTY Big 12.

People say this and then watch guys chucking three after three with 15 seconds on the shot clock and flopping after every jumper.
Replying to @aflickerofdoubt
Today's game has far more movement, passing, and complex schemes both on offense and defense. You have to worker harder on both offense and defense just to be competent. You have to be more skilled just to get a spot on the court. More players need to be able to shoot and pass well than ever before. It's aesthetically more beautiful than mid-range isolation basketball which dominated the late 90s and early 2000s as well as more strategically complex and athletically demanding.

"Guy are more skilled now," they'll say while nobody has post game that could compete with like 10 different guys playing back in the 90s.

This is it. Prices are crazy because the people keep paying. Applies to entertainment too.
I hear my friends and family complain about a $25 double cheeseburger, fries and drink at Five Guys and I tell them "It's your fault it cost so much." They look at me in disbelief. The day everyone says "We refuse to pay that much" is the day Five Guys will become motivated to change. As long as you agree to extortion, they will keep demanding it.

Following up on this. Genuinely curious why you think people who just started working shouldn't have fewer luxuries than people who have worked for decades.

People who want it aren't fans of cfb; they're fans of one specific school that they think will be better off. Big difference. Can tell by the accounts supporting it.
I cannot fathom how some people want this

'04 Finals Kobe got handled by Tayshon Prince. Ran out Shaq. Did nothing noteworthy next two years . Wade injury prevented a Heat title on '05 and he carried the Heat to the '06 titles. Kobe stans love revisionist history. Its nonsense.
Because it is historically inaccurate. Here are the facts: Kobe Bryant was absolutely considered the best player in the world during the mid to late 2000s. From 2003 to 2005, it was Duncan. However, toward the end of 2005, and throughout 2006, Duncan began to physically decline as a result of a severe ankle injury and ongoing foot problems. Although still elite, Duncan would never quite be the same. From 2006 to 2008, most considered Kobe to be the Best Player in the NBA. Yes, narratives existed as to whether he could win without Shaq, but most leaned Kobe, particularly after his 2008 MVP season. In 2009, LeBron entered the conversation and a debate ensued between Kobe vs. LeBron until 2011. Again, these are the facts. @getnickwright @KingJames
