The emphasis on building this year at ETHDenver in contrast to the more recent side event party years is great to see. All the big guns are rolling in to support the hackers level up, and it’s going to be wild to see nontechnical founders become empowered. People party when they’re bored, but they focus, learn and build when they’re enthralled. @base @Polymarket @openclaw and so many more inbound.

The core trait I value in a contributor to the blockchain space is sincerity. @maggielove_ is the epitome of it. I’ve known Maggie since ETHDenver 2018 when she was working with Cellarius and the attacks on her character are unfounded and frankly the opposite of how I’ve experienced her for almost a decade. The criticisms I’ve been reading on CT are unfair and assume other motives than her stated goals: educate and bring women to crypto while offering a learning environment that creates belonging and community. We should remember that we supposedly aim to ‘onboard the world’ to crypto and women make up 50% of the population. I firmly believe that “community is the new IP”. And every person who cares about a decentralized future is contributing meaningfully to that goal. SheFi is doing hard work. Show a little respect. It costs $800 per year? So what? I don’t know how her economic model works but I can tell you first hand how hard it is to ‘scale free’. @shefiorg charges for a service. Some people pay, some people get scholarships. Either way SheFi is offering a product that people seem to want. So they participate. Personally, I salute anyone in the “crypto education” space who’s figured out how to survive, much less thrive. It is an insanely hard business. Like anything else in a free market, if you don’t see the value in something or don’t like how someone is organized…don’t participate. Or build something else that better fits your worldview. There is ZERO reason to publicly tear a person or organization down because YOU don’t see value in something or don’t like how they operate. This type of crypto cannibalism is not only unhelpful, but destructive to whole movement. And to those doing the tearing down…get something more productive to do. Tearing down sincere people is not a healthy activity. For you or anyone else. It makes you look small, petty, and unhinged. Most importantly you look insincere. Do better. Maggie and SheFi will always have an ally in @EthereumDenver . We stand with SheFi.
