Why is so hard for our Government to build a new international airport as Ethiopia & Rwanda have done in an above-board deal? Why do we like to use people with criminal pasts? Is it so hard to undertake a multi-billion project with open transparency? How can we use a Contractor from Zimbabwe of all places? JKIA deserves our respect & patriotism. The Bible says the Truth loves Light! Evil loves Darkness!

I received an email from KRA informing me that a supplier of mine owes them money. This is none of my business but the KRA is saying I should now not pay the supplier but pay them directly. There's no court order. They have just decided. This is how shylocks operate.

For the first time in eight months, bond investors are asking for over 14% to lend to the government. Last week they quoted 14.23% on a 25-year paper (coupon: 13.4%) and 13.31% on a 15-year (coupon: 12.75%). When they want more than the coupon, the State sells the bond at a discount to make up the gap. T-bills are climbing too: the 91-day hit 8.55%, the 182-day 8.52%, the 364-day 8.72%. Three months ago the short papers sat around 7.5–7.8%. The driver? Inflation jumped to 6.7% in May from 4.4% in March, so investors want to be paid more to part with their money. For you, this is a window: rates on safe government paper are rising. If you’ve been sitting on cash, the 364-day T-bill at 8.72% is worth a look before any rate reversal. #TBills #NSE #kenyainvesting

A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear: ā€œIt doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.ā€

William Ruto perfected the art of BRAINWASHING Kenyans by putting them in buses like sacks of manure, transporting them to Sugoi where he'd lie to them until they see heaven in hell! He's trying to employ the same strategy, the only difference this time is that he has turned State House into a market of deception and lies! Unfortunately for him, the same people he's ferrying are not even patient enough to arrive back at their homes to share their experiences, they are insulting him right from the precincts of State House! Kutenga na kutengua has nowhere to hide!

I honestly don’t think we’re ready for this Eastleigh conversation. Few Observations,. You buy something in the majority of those shops and they want cash. If you don’t have cash, they have their own MPesa agents they tell you to withdraw from. They then make a quick call to the agent to confirm the withdrawal before releasing your goods. That way, they never have to explain their cash flow, but you may one day have to explain yours to the taxman. We’re talking about a multi billion shilling industry with very little transparency, accountability or visibility into how money moves. And as long as they remain the middlemen, pay zero tax, sell ā€œcounterfeit goodsā€ the government is comfortable But how dare you use the same business model, open your own wholesale operation and bring your own goods through the port?…..

Three Kenyans robbed a foreigner of a phone in Nairobi after the foreigner refused to give them money. This is totally unacceptable. @DCI_Kenya should take action.

I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, ā€œNever play fair in a game where others cheat.ā€ It doesn’t mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they’ll throw dirt. Sometimes wisdom is not revenge. Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
