The latest version of unjs/nypm now auto-detects Aube (by @jdxcode). 🌈 nypm can be used for automated tasks while respecting the user's package manager. npm, pnpm, Yarn, Bun, Deno, and Aube are now all supported through a unified/compact API.

unjs/ocache now supports .expire() on cached functions and handlers 🕰️ (available in Nitro v3!) Unlike .invalidate(), it marks the entry stale without evicting it. The cached value keeps being served while a fresh one is fetched in the background. Cool idea by @Atinux

unjs/env-runner now supports virtual modules across all supported runtimes! No bundler required. This unlocks some exciting new possibilities for Nitro.

Recently i learned that my YubiKey can do two different things: 🫆 Security key: tap to prove your presence for 2FA (unlimited) 🔑 Passkey: stores secure credentials that can replace password and requires pin to unlock (25/100 slots)
TouchID is not enough

Writing couple of PRs since last night all by hand (not even auto complete!) it is fun, feeling smarter 😂

This is ridiculous. @discord_support please do something NOW!!!
Approaching 72 hours and the attacker still has unbridled access to my Discord account and server. @discord refuses to help because unless I create a ticket with my "Discord support" account. That account is compromised and even resetting the password is not letting me in. Feeling pretty raw right now, it's blowing my mind that someone can't just suspend the server until further notice.

Hear me out: What if, instead of spamming GitHub with AI-generated BS, there was a platform to donate AI credits (to orgs, projects, or even a single issue)? Maintainers could use them however they see fit and credit donors back.

Congrats Void team! We @vercel reaffirm our collaboration on an open platform for the web, with our investment in @nitrojsdev, open runtimes, and native support for Vite-based frameworks like Nuxt, Svelte, and TanStack Start 🫡
VoidZero is joining Cloudflare. Our mission stays the same: to make JavaScript developers more productive than ever before. Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite remain MIT-licensed. Evan and the VoidZero team will continue leading them. Cloudflare shares our commitment to open source. Together, we can keep investing in the tooling developers rely on every day, while bringing the Vite ecosystem and Cloudflare’s platform even closer together.

i actually read “tar create zip file” in my head! BTW pro tip when using agent harnesses that don’t show the source code. Just ask them to tgz the whole thing and put it to the public dir, they will happily do it! 🤫
That's how I remember it

👀 If I were a hacker, I would: 1. Sit on zero-days. They are increaing , while more people starting to delay or disable auto-updates. What could go wrong?

4. Level up the attack techniques. A lot of successful exploits are basic level, yet the news calls them "highly sophisticated".

5. Compile payloads to native. Easier to smuggle, harder to find. Most security tools just scream at minified code and assume napi and wasm payloads are "ok".
