Looks like the founder of Urban Compassion Project is suing the org after resigning due to him alledgly using funds for personal gain. This is the same person who worked with Seneca to try and sue Tur-Ha Ak.
These are the folks who claim progressive nonprofits are grifting btw.

Between now and when about 30-33 officers graduate in October, OPD will lose about 30 officers, likely bringing OPD's force down below 600 for the first time in memory. That means between this and the next academy, OPD will have produced about 9 officers.

The entire coliseum site is currently carved out because the BOS cut a deal with the A's that cut it out. Right now, unless this AASEG deal goes through, ALCO will forever be liable for environmental issues on site, because that's the deal they cut with the white owned A's group

My experience with other jurisdictions' police in Oakland leads me to believe that either through very visible public signals or actual convos, OPD has given other PD's wide discretion to walk all over our City.
Has anyone determined why @SFPD was permitted to operate in Oakland? Was this a mutual aid situation? Was this considered "hot pursuit"?

No duh! Only reason Oakland Report exists and its writers aren't in jail is because it's legal to lie in political campaigns, which is all Oakland Report is. I've heard the explanation of the PFRs reduction at half a dozen meetings. It's easy to find, and here it is in writing
