has anyone ever used Jira as issue management board in a team, but without ever assigning an issue to a team member? having the who's'who at the dailies and let people choose how many of them work at one thing?

there is only one constant in logging: you are logging way too much, you are logging not enough, you are logging the wrong thing.

since I'm a bit old school I still run a dedicated server... but to have a glimpse into the cloudy world I experimented with monitoring the server and docker stuff using Grafana Prometheus: brontofundus.ch/software-dev… @Hetzner_Online @grafana

A glossary is not a language. It is just a dictionary. DDD does not have a glossary. It knows a ubiquitous language. A glossary lacks the grammar of when and where words are used. Dictionaries use examples to make it easier to understand what words can do. #DDDesign

when struggling with creating developer documentation: I found the starting points and structure from diataxis.fr/ (previously? documentation.divio.com/) very helpful! #development #documentation #desperate

well this is kinda hackish... the @bloomsky services are all down, the app is dead, but the weather cam still sends quite some data around - wasn't aware Weather Cams can talk to dead services. Gonna integrate that into #Kubernetes and #Microservices - supernatural software!

"lets do a cleanup PI!". You sound like a soccer team that complains "we always loose 3:8, lets all defend!". Now you will loose only 0:3. See whats missing? The 3. No not that one! #softwaredevelopment #agile

Let's use a new utility for this! (4 hours and 768 proxy configurations later) Let's just not do that any fall back to a more manual approach to things.

digging through the basement, look at what I found. All documents for my 1992 @TrekBikes 8900. Bought on 7/31/92. Carbon! Function Specific Design! 😄 (theres a sticker on it that proves it!) All parts still around. It is still a beauty 😎🥳 Happy Birthday Bikey!
