Setup for El Sereno Middle School's Comic Con—featuring the very same books a real group of heroes, @women.helping.youth, helped us to process and shelve in October. We LOVE to see the books come off the shelves this way!!

Just a few days ago, over 700 Compton Unified students got to sit in and hear from "Duel" creators Jessixa and Aaron Bagley. The authors were excited to share their story that spans topics of siblinghood to P.O.C. representation in historically non-diverse spaces

The book's art and its enhancement to the story were certainly a favorite among the kids! Students who beat their grade's reading record could also speak with the authors about their love for reading and literary goals. Overall, it was a fun and enriching time for all!
