To do this, @apewhale, @WelcomeApes, and I have been using public security tools, as well as ones we have developed, to keep track of these scammers 🫡 Apewhale spearheaded this into what is now AlertApes! This is a joint effort to help protect the community from users who either pretend to own an Ape, or own an Ape and use that status to scam community members. @KaijuTheApe made an awesome website that ties to our data base and marks confirmed or known profiles as: SUS — suspicious behavior, DMing files, sketchy patterns FAKE PFP — verified impersonator (Fake Ape, Fake Penguin, etc.); the real NFT owner is someone else SCAMMER — proven malicious; sent phishing links, drainers, or malware Use this as a resource to check whether someone who messaged you is a confirmed scammer!! As a founder, there is always an ethical way of going about stuff and a non ethical way. No in between. Sad thing is, majority of founders here are all about greed and self pocketing. (Watch closely) I don’t take a dime from Fiendz and I won’t. Funds are for the community. I have an upper advantage compared to a lot of founders as I’ve mentioned this before, but my mental health would be crap without Fiendz. So take that as you will but basically that means Fiendz will always be here. And I’ll be here until I’m dead or this space doesn’t exist. I can’t imagine my life without Fiendz. I won’t extract from my community I will never PFP another project I will always think community first I will always try to help others in the process I will always be available to my community if they ever need me for anything I will always self fund Fiendz with funds from my IRL career Find a founder that possibly can’t live without his/her project.
