Love seeing the meaningful progress on tau-voice! It is a non-trivial benchmark based on our real world experience separating agent performance in voice from chat.
Our newest voice model is 20 points ahead of the nearest competitor on Sierra's leaderboard. Pretty massive upgrade from our OG model from December, with significantly improved realism and tool calling capabilities.

This is absolutely awful from Giga. If you work there, have a similar experience and are looking for something better, DM me.

With Gemini CLI, and more recently the execution in AI from @Google has been just so amazing. It reminds me of a younger @Meta which would quickly copy and improve features launched by competition.

We often need to tweak emotions in voice agents. For example, I might need the voice to sound more empathetic or more excited, etc. if you have a system that can do this, I would love a demo!

70% of customer service interactions are voice today. Over the next five years, that number will increase significantly as AI makes voice even more efficient—quicker (no wait times), less effort (no repeating yourself), and cheaper. It’s another example of Jevons Paradox. Excited to have Receptive AI join Sierra to help accelerate that shift: sierra.ai/blog/sierra-acquir…

I was fortunate to work with Sriram at Twitter and during the transition. He is a phenomenal technologist and such a good person. This is a really positive announcement and great for the US!

I highly recommend my competition to start using jira.
74% of tech employees on their death beds say: “I lived a great life, but I wish I was able to spend more time using Jira at work. It made me so happy.”

Can someone put me in touch with the advertisers and investors? My startup idea is free beer. Our hypothesis is inebriated CTR > sober CTR on the ads.

Strongly agree with this. Startups would collapse without these risk takers. 🫡

the real MVPs in the tech ecosystem aren't founders nor investors - they are all the early adopter customers willing to try half baked pre product market fit products, slogging through all the pain and wasted time because they believe in the problem and the team that much 🫡

Suggestion to improve engagement and non-regretted UAM for @X: display the accounts I follow who have liked the post on all posts in my timeline!

.⁦@sfchronicle⁩ maybe the notification should share whether the people in the car are ok, instead of focusing on the impact on commute?

.@GaryMarcus, the claim you are quoting (and I guess agreeing with) is that you need a killer app for LLMs? Is ChatGPT not a good example? It already has more users than many big platforms.

13.5 months post GPT-4: • Models that are not as good as GPT-4 have become widespread. • Models that are roughly as good GPT-4 have become common. • Models that are significantly better than GPT-4 don’t exist. If that doesn’t hint at diminishing returns and potential convergence at an asymptote absent a breakthrough, what would?

I would pay for a consumer version of this!
Have you heard of Artly Coffee? A start-up that has created a robot barista that is able to make great coffee with different coffee patterns (without getting tired) using a @Universal_Robot arm. Artly can be taught new tricks by showing examples by human baristas using an imitation learning platform. The quality of each drink is monitored using Deep Learning-based visual inspection at every step. I guess I need to grab a cup of coffee right now... ☕️ ~~~ ✍️ Would love your thoughts. ♻️ Repost to help 1 robot find a new workplace. 🔔 Don't click any bell to be notified. I want you to sleep well.
