Sometimes you don’t change your mind…..other folk who you once thought were reasonable people change it for you with their bias, bigotry, gullibility, and artificial victim-hood😎

If only all big centre forwards , especially @CelticFC would realise that you can’t do anything on a football pitch , until you learn to control the ball from your first touch

Pep Guardiola says what he admires most is not the skills. He never saw Lionel Messi obsessed with crosses or spectacular actions. Right foot, left foot, head — it doesn’t matter. If it’s effective, it’s fine. What Guardiola learned from Messi is this: he never makes mistakes in the simple things. The simple control, the simple pass, the simple decision — always perfect. And only after that, he dribbles four or five players. That’s the message to every player: do the simplest things really well first. Then, if you have special talent, you can express it. But if the simple things fail, everything collapses.

🗣️ Fabio Capello claims that Pep Guardiola has negatively impacted football: "You know what I don’t like about Guardiola? His arrogance. The Champions League he won with City is the only one where he didn’t try anything funny in the decisive matches." "But all the other years, in Manchester and Munich, on key days, he always wanted to be the protagonist. He would change things and invent them so he could say: ‘It’s not the players who win, it’s me’. And that arrogance cost him several Champions Leagues. I respect him, but for me, it’s clear." "Besides, even if it is no longer his fault, he has done a lot of harm to football. Because everyone spent ten years trying to copy him." "It ruined Italian football, which lost its nature. I said: 'Stop, you don't have Guardiola's players'! There was also the absurd idea that that was all there was to do to play well." "A disaster and also a boredom that made many people flee from football, they only have to watch the highlights, why are you going to watch 90 minutes of passes and horizontal passes without fighting, without running...?" "Fortunately, football is changing. First of all, Spain changed it by winning the European Championship with two wingers and playing fast."

From this to this. How can any player look at that bench of old clueless muppets that’s never done anything in the game and get any inspiration at all. Ken

Law, Dalglish, Bremner, Johnstone… it never felt as if John Robertson gained the kudos he deserved in Scotland. Which didn’t bother him at all. On Forest’s best ever. theguardian.com/football/202…

My mother always offers to pay for stuff done in the house or if we want anything but I always refuse & always will. Never ever take advantage of your parents. I would only take the help if I was desperate but hopefully it never comes to that. Buy flowers, a nice cream bun , chocolates or any other gifts now & again for them because what they have done for us bringing us up they deserve treats back to show our appreciation ❤️
Good morning everyone ☕️
