Trilokpuri area: Cruelty against a visually impaired and mentally disabled elderly Muslim woman
New Delhi: An elderly Muslim woman was beaten and an attempt was made to rape her in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri area. This incident took place around midnight on Thursday in the jurisdiction of Mayur Vihar police station.
According to local people, the woman was visually impaired and mentally disabled and had been living on the streets of the area for about 35 years. People in the area used to give her food and clothes.
When the woman was resting outside a shop, a man came near her. He tried to rape her, and when the woman resisted, the accused attacked her with a brick, due to which she was seriously injured. After this, the accused again tried to rape the woman and then fled from the spot.

Panic over collapsing fertility
This is the daughter of India's IT Dhandho Nandan Nilekani. She is pushing the idea of 3 kids per family now, after India's fertility has collapsed to 1.9, and may touch 1.5 by 2030. Now this is something we all celebrate, subject to the simple condition that we get rich before we get old, etc.
But can you guess why she is pushing this crazy idea?
1) If population starts reducing sharply from birth-side, most consumption Dhandho models, and government rent-seeking models too will begin to shrink. Horror!
2) The huge govt. surveillance machinery will have lesser and lesser to feed upon.
3) And since isn't an innovation nation, the world's interest in us will collapse faster than our fertility (as they can't sell ever more to us, any more).
4) Of course the daily fear of population explosion that WhatsApp University feeds into innocent minds will end too.
Read again - Indian elite want more kids per family, not less, because their business gets whacked otherwise. For the sake of this nation, reject these Dhandhos and their predatory ideas. Surely this lady has no clue of how impossible it is for a regular middle-class family to educate even a second child now.

A Yamaha showroom manager, Mohammad Faiz, was allegedly beaten to death inside the office premises in Bihar, according to reports that state he was assaulted with an iron rod and also stabbed with scissors during the incident, leaving him with severe injuries that led to his death on the spot before medical help could arrive. Police have arrested the accused, identified as Sonu Paswan, in connection with the case. Faiz’s father said that the attacker did not work at the office and further stated that if justice is not delivered, he will not allow his other son to leave the house, as he fears he may also be killed.

1 मई को रंजू की शादी हो गई. शादी के बाद वह पहली बार चौथी पर मायके आई थी.
13 मई की रात वह गांव के रहने वाले अपने प्रेमी के साथ घर छोड़कर चली गई. घर वाले 3 दिन बाद 16 मई को रंजू को खोजकर लाए.
इसकी जानकारी ससुराल पक्ष को होने के बाद दोनों के बीच पंचायत हुई. समझौते के बाद रंजू की विदाई कर दी गई, लेकिन ससुराल में भी उसकी प्रेमी से बातचीत जारी रही.
इसकी जानकारी अहमदाबाद में मजदूरी करने वाले भाई संदीप को हुई. वह 10 जून को बहन की ससुराल पहुंचा और दो दिन तक वहीं रुका.
इस बीच संदीप अपनी बहन को समझाता रहा, लेकिन रंजू मानने को तैयार नहीं थी.
इसके बाद 12 जून की शाम संदीप ने कहा कि वो बहन को गांव ले जा रहा है. वो रंजू को टैक्सी से गांव लेकर निकल गया.
टैक्सी से उतरने के बाद दोनों पैदल गांव की ओर जा रहे थे. रास्ते में संदीप से बहस होती रही. संदीप को गुस्सा आया और उसने बहन को खेत में गिराकर गला दबा दिया.
रंजू कुछ देर छटपटाई, फिर उसकी मौत हो गई. संदीप ने लाश को कुंए में फेंक दिया.
संदीप पहले भागना चाहता था, लेकिन बाद में उसे लगा कि इससे शक परिवार और ससुराल वालों पर जाएगा. इसलिए वह खुद से पुलिस के पास चला गया.
