Barack Obama hasn't been President in almost 10 years. MAGA racists cannot get past the fact that a Black man was President, won the Nobel Peace Prize, and will be remembered in history as one of the great leaders of the 21st Century. RETWEET if you love President Obama! 💙

BREAKING: Every single Democratic governor bands together to slam Trump's call to "nationalize" elections under the Republican Party — stating that he's "openly talking about rigging" the vote. Maybe Americans will finally listen now... "Voting in free and fair elections is the foundation of our democracy. All Americans deserve to have their voices heard as they exercise their right to vote, without interference from the federal government," the twenty-four blue governors wrote. “President Trump’s threats to remove the ability of states to run their own elections is an undemocratic attempt to silence the American people who are rejecting his costly and divisive agenda," they continued. Trump recently called for Republicans to "take over" and "nationalize" elections in "at least 15 places." Clearly, he's looking for ways to undermine our democracy because he's heading for a massive blue wave due to the economic effects of his disastrous tariffs, his murderous ICE crackdowns, his fascist foreign policy, and the worsening Epstein scandal. He is the greatest failure in the history of the American presidency and voters know it. “While Trump whines about losing a free and fair election, he’s now openly talking about rigging one in the future. Democratic governors won’t let that happen," the group wrote. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who serves as the vice chair of the Democratic Governors Association, stated her unequivocal commitment to protecting her state from Trump's authoritarian power grabs. “Our nation has a long, proud history of running decentralized federal elections,” she stated in a video on X. “It’s a system that was designed by our Founding Fathers to protect us against those who would try to take and hold power illegitimately or by force. “And because of that system, America remains the longest-running representative democracy in the world. For 250 years, we have set a powerful example, and we must continue to follow it," she added. Please ❤️ and share if you stand with the Democratic governors!

Looking at this dispassionately and on the evidence alone, the facts are stark. The man is holding a phone, not a weapon. He is not facing the officers and presents no immediate threat. He appears to be under control when he is shot in the back. On any objective reading, the legal threshold for the use of lethal force is not met at that moment. Intent may ultimately be a matter for a court, but justification is a matter of evidence. Based on what is visible, the use of deadly force is neither necessary nor proportionate. If the Trump administration and the department involved are so confident that this incident was something else, the answer is simple. Release all evidence to an independent investigator, allow a full and transparent analysis, and then let the matter be tested properly before a grand jury. Anything less invites the conclusion that the official account cannot withstand scrutiny.

BREAKING: The family of Alex Pretti releases a powerful statement about his senseless murder at the hands of Trump's masked fascist goons. Please share this far and wide... "We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital," the family said in a statement provided to CNN. "Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman." "The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed." "Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you." It is our responsibility as Americans to get the truth out there. Petti was not attempting to harm anyone. He was swarmed, beaten, and disarmed by vicious federal agents who were looking for someone to hurt. Once they had removed his gun — which he had a legal permit to carry — they executed him in cold blood by firing numerous bullets into him. Then, the Trump administration proceeded to immediately falsely smear him as a "terrorist" who wanted to carry out a mass shooting against law enforcement. They're utterly shameless. “He cared about people deeply and he was very upset with what was happening in Minneapolis and throughout the United States with ICE, as millions of other people are upset,” said Pretti's father Alex. “He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street. He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.” Rest in power Alex. The rest of us will carry on the fight. Please like and share.

An open letter to Reba McEntire @reba, I humbly request permission, limited use rights, to welcome a very Special Needs puppy to my domestic animal sanctuary in Idaho with one of your songs. She’s being named after you. She’s a Survivor. Our Reba McEntire is a 6 mo old catahoula leopard dog. She was deprived oxygen during birth. She was stuck. She has severe developmental disabilities and seizures. She is being treated for a brain parasite. She’s perfectly wonky. I specialize in special needs. Everyone has a famous namesake. In a house full of different, she wont ever think she’s different. Reba will receive advanced medical care and an abundance of love. She will also have a Fancy wardrobe. Reba will be traveling, from her rescue in Florida to her new sanctuary in Idaho, the week of April 7th. I would like to document her trip and honor both of you by using either Survivor or Fancy for musical accompaniment. I would also like your blessing to do feature posts with both of you in matching outfits. I do this with sincere respect. Signed with fangirl anxiety, Tine & The Herd

This is probably going to tick some people off, and I hope it does. But I’m going to keep on saying it. And once again, I am a human being, a Mom who believes in humanity. I am extremely disappointed in so many of you who think that "not being a fan" of someone means you're entitled to shit all over them. I want to remind you of something. Your children are watching you complain about Taylor Swift sitting at a football game, being happy, and cheering for a man she loves in what appears to be a very loving, respectful relationship. Your Children are watching you judge a woman for literally just EXISTING and taking up space happily. And you know what? Ms. Swift has won 324 awards? How many do you have? She brought $5 BILLION dollars in consumer spending and boosted the U. S. economy so significantly, that leaders from other countries actually beg for her to play there? Did you know that there are over 20 college courses about her skills as an artist, lyricist, and musician - including at places like Harvard, Stanford & UC Berkeley? Did you know that Taylor Swift quietly donates mass amounts of money to local food banks in every city she performs in? AND DID YOU KNOW … That Taylor Swift was sexually assaulted by a radio DJ, and she got him fired? When he sued HER for over $3 million for defamation, she counter sued for a symbolic $1 in a court case that took 2 YEARS for her to win. And, she did that just to show women that fighting for what's right has no price tag & to never be silent in the face of oppression. WELL IF YOU DON’T CARE BY NOW, YOU SHOULD. Because your daughters, nieces, and your nephews are watching you run your mouth. And they are seeing the world hate a woman who does so much good, simply because she exists in their line of sight. DO BETTER PEOPLE. Teach your boys to respect women. Teach your girls that as women - they are ALLOWED to take up space. Fix it. Become aware of your words. Because we all have the ability and the obligation to fight for the future of our children with simple moments. And we need to consciously choose to be better for them.
