Who knows Bali, knows driving a car like that is a nightmare. Roads are made mostly for scooters or really compact and high ground clearance cars
Buying a Bentley in Bali is literally exactly what a poser would do

What’s the point that @Zai_org removed their stop subscription buttons and their support email is not working at all? Like literally bounce. Anyone?

The database behind Twitter, GitHub, Snapchat, Airbnb, Pinterest, Instagram. In 2009 one Italian wrote it alone, on a MacBook Air. 🤯 Meet Salvatore Sanfilippo 🇮🇹 > Italian programmer. Born 1977 in southern Italy. Goes by "antirez" online. > Left university at 17. Self-taught coder. > 1998 ~ invented "idle scan" ~ a stealth network scanning technique now built into nmap. > 2009 ~ started building Redis alone, on a MacBook Air 11, to fix his own startup's database problem. > Redis became the in-memory database powering Twitter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Snapchat, Airbnb, Instagram. > One of the most-used databases on Earth ~ built by one self-taught coder. > Maintained it alone as Benevolent Dictator for Life for 11 years. > Also built Kilo (a full text editor in under 1000 lines of C), Linenoise, Dump1090, Disque, Jim Tcl ~ all open source. > June 2020 ~ walked away at the peak. "My hands will be free," he wrote. > Spent two years writing a science fiction novel about artificial intelligence. > The novel described prompt engineering ~ before ChatGPT existed. 🚀 > December 2024 ~ the internet called him back. He returned to Redis. > Built the new Vector Sets data structure for AI similarity search. > 27k followers on GitHub. Active on BlueSky. Avoids Twitter. > Lives in Catania, Italy. Codes from home. Calls himself "the Robin Hood of open source." He built it alone. Walked away at the peak. Came back when AI needed a new way to think. No fame. No equity. Just code, novels, and home. Open source GOAT. 🐐

This can be another aws bill horror story
May 11
The Claude Platform on AWS is now generally available. AWS customers get the full set of Claude API features, with AWS authentication, billing, and commitment retirement.

For the first time in more than a year... i'm not a subscriber of Claude Code. Feels like those times when switching from Cursor to CC. PS: I'm now full in codex! really enjoying it

And besides the fact of the rate limits, i was really tired of the hidden continuous model nerfing from Anthropic. Is like trust is broken

Happy for Codex. Hope they don't make the same mistakes but time and "computing" will tell x.com/pvncher/status/2051628…

This is pretty nuts

Beside some little frontend details there is no reason to keep on Claude. Anthropic will regret this massive loss of devs by the time because change friction is real and codex will keep shipping, plus i keep saying OSS models are getting better. The future gonna be OSS but meanwhile people will be closer to codex until they replicate the same as claude… but in terms of costs OpenAI will win this race imo
Apr 27
codex has gotten insanely polished over the past few weeks and gpt-5.5 just get things done wild that people still think claude code with opus-4.7 is better

Interesting study. It can apply to anything, even here (X). How many of us compare ourselves to others MRR, signups, etc? Is the same flexing you see there. You can for sure use it to get motivated or to falling in frustration. PS: a reminder is that not everyone story even if you apply the same flow gonna be same outcome.
Stanford paid 35,000 people to quit Facebook and Instagram for 6 weeks Depression dropped. Anxiety dropped. Happiness went up. Women under 25 on Instagram saw the biggest gains That was 6 weeks. I'm going a full year.

This is a big deal. I used to have a custom script just to generate assets while using cc

You can now generate and iterate on images with gpt-image-1.5 in Codex to create frontend designs, mockups, game assets, and more without leaving your workflow. Usage is included with your ChatGPT account, no API key needed.
