#Dhandoraa An Average Caste Based Drama with Some Hard-Hitting Moments, but an Uneven Narration and a Predictable Plot Limit Its Potential
The film follows a caste based story that has been explored numerous times before. While it gives a sense of deja vu, there are moments that still land effectively, especially the interval block and a few sequences in the second half. However, the uneven narration, particularly in the first half, along with forced comedy scenes, disrupt the flow and reduce the overall impact.
The performances across the board help keep the proceedings engaging whenever the screenplay dips. Sivaji once again delivers a solid performance. The music is neat and complements the narrative well.
A middling watch.
