Plans have been unveiled to add elaborate terrazzo floors throughout the concourses of the new OKC arena. @okcthunder
The design by local artist Matt Goad is part of OKCโs 1% for Art ordinance, which requires all municipal projects to set aside 1% of the total budget for public art installations.
Goad also designed the beautiful terrazzo floors in the expanded sections of Will Rogers Airport.
The arena, dubbed Continental Coliseum, is scheduled to open in the middle of 2028.
