It makes Algebra 1 easy to teach multiplying binomials. I show them a reminder from elementary school and then put up a problem from Algebra 1 and they figure it out without direct instruction.

Triangle Congruence and Intro to Proof - solve for angle measure puzzle, @desmos AB, & #proofblocks.
Thank you #MTBoS for all the resource sharing. Students were so engaged and I could work with the same groups as they created proofs.

I've made @openmiddle problem matrices for 3rd grade to Algebra 2 to show how a single problem can replace an entire worksheet. This blog highlights the 8th grade #DOK matrix but has a button to download EVERY grade level right now. robertkaplinsky.com/depth-of… #iteachmath #MTBoS

To avoid looking completely utterly out of touch w/ the reality our prison system:
Instead of asking, “Should the Boston Bomber have the right to vote?”
Try, “Should a nonviolent person stopped w/ a dime bag LOSE the right to vote?”
Bc that question reflects WAY more people.
