In May, we learned of Amtrak's reported plans to cut its Police department by 20% over the next several years. The cuts could put Amtrak safety & security at risk. We asked the President of @apdfop to explain why cutting these jobs would be a mistake. Watch below:

Forty-three Amtrak police officers are assigned to Union Station. That number could fall to 35 by 2022, according to the Amtrak police union.
