Just a few months ago I literally had to explain to Republican members of Congress how periods work.
Their complete and utter incompetence is now killing women and pregnant people across the US.
There remains no legitimate grounding or basis to force birth in the United States.

I've always worried that leaning so hard into this likely ADHD diagnosis made me feel like I was jumping on a dangerous bandwagon.
It's not. Especially as a black and brown person, we are the first generation in our families to address our mental illnesses.
So yeah I'm loud.

ALT Having ADHD hasn't become trendy. Due to increased awareness, more and more people who spent all their lives thinking they're "not normal" are learning there is a name for their experience. They're finding places and communities where they belong and feel understood.
