In this edition of the Barkley's Marathon, Jasmin Paris has just made history by being the first woman to complete the five loops of 32 kilometers each.

Paris finished the grueling course with a time of 59 hours, 58 minutes and 21 seconds; just 99 seconds before the 60-hour time limit elapsed.
Known as the most hellish race on the planet, this race challenges athletes with mountainous terrain and dense vegetation.
Only 20 runners have finished the test in its history.

Week 20 of the strike against sewage
Another rainy day here in the Lake District!
Our petition calling for a public inquiry into the Environment Agency has now surpassed 70,000 signatures.
The EA is failing to hold United Utilities accountable and is not fit for purpose.
Why are they turning a blind eye to this ? Why are they not enforcing the law?

Stop putting sh*t in our lake.
The message is simple. I will be outside United Utilities information centre every Monday from 9am - 10am until a commitment is made to stop putting sewage into Windermere.
We already have those wanting to join the strike so please head to savewindermere.com if you have any ideas.
