This is the Guadalupe River near Canyon Lake, about an hour from Kerrville,Texas where the devastating floods hit just 11 months ago.
Itโs a funny feeling enjoying the river like everyone did before the floods, but, they go on, though they donโt forget, and they tube down the river with family and friends. โค๏ธ
Itโs tubing season and thatโs what Texans do! ๐ฏ
Texas Strong!๐๐ป
The river is a part of life there, more good than bad. Where kids learn to swim, tube, fish and families and friends gather.
They will continue to do that but now with a profound sense of respect for those that were lost.
Businesses and communities need the tourism there to help get back to some sense of normalcy.
