If I were the paralegal in this case, I would have made tally marks in my little yellow legal pad for every time the witness said he made an "error" or a "misinterpretation." It was said enough times to stand out. I can't help myself and did it anyway... Shanon Burgess admitted to 9 errors and 4 misinterpretations within the first 15 minutes of cross examination. And I would rip out that page and hand it to my attorney to use in his closing statement: You heard the Commonwealth's forensic expert use the word "errors" nine times when talking about his CV and his initial report. He used the word "misinterpretations" four times, which is another way of saying errors. Shanon Burgess is a scientific witness. He's presenting precise data down to the second. Are you sure there are no more errors? Or something like that.

Hank just PROVED Karen’s INNOCENCE✨ Hank Brennan claimed in court that John O’Keefe’s phone disconnected from Karen’s car at 12:30am. Let’s break this down👇 TIMELINE: 🏠🚙At 12:21am, Karen Read arrives at 34 Fairview (via Waze’s clock 3 minute offset, 12:24am-3min=12:21am) 🪜At 12:21-12:24am Johns phone logs 3 flights of stairs taken. This means that these steps were taken INSIDE 34 Fairview. Because there aren’t f’ing stairs inside a car. 🛻Nagel car arrives at 12:23am (“here” text from Ryan to Julie). No one in that car saw John inside Karen’s car or get out of her car. That means John was already inside. As also supported by his Apple health data logging 3 flights of stairs, which tend to be in a house… 📱At 12:30am, John’s phone disconnects from Karen’s car. This means John/his phone was FAR enough (AT LEAST 30ft) from her car to no longer pick up his Bluetooth. Simply getting out of the car would not cause it to disconnect. This is common sense. 🚶🏽‍➡️At 12:31-12:32am, Johns phone logs movement (25meters). ALL of this movement had to have taken place FAR ENOUGH from Karen’s car, because he was no longer connected to her cars Bluetooth at this timeframe. John/his phone traveled 80 feet between 12:31-12:32am. Nowhere near Karen’s car. 🏠📲At 12:36am, Karen’s phone connects to John’s house’s WiFi. The drive from 34 Fairview to John’s house is a 6 minute drive. 12:36am-6min=12:30am. The exact time John’s phone disconnects from Karen’s car. Which supports Karen’s timeline of waiting outside for about 10 minutes (12:21-12:30) and then leaving 34 Fairview (at 12:30am) which caused John’s phone to disconnect from her car. This (and many other things) exonerates Karen Read from hitting John O’Keefe with her car.
