A tip for young guys heading into college baseball that I wish I had figured out sooner: you can put in all the work in the world, but if you aren’t confident in who you are as a player... it doesn’t matter. Put the work in and own who you are. Belief wins. Doubt doesn’t.

After a one hour 47 minute lightning delay when it was smoking hot and sitting in Memorial Gym with no HVAC, Tyler Beede at struck out 14 in 8 IP with no runs and four hits to defeat Xavier in the regional opener. It was my son’s first @VandyBoys game. #AnchorDown
