I also like how this lesson has a lot of turn & talk: sharing observations about the mystery methods, coming up with examples of linear & binary search IRL (inspired by @basecspodcast), and thinking about which algorithm is "better."
Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode
- Podcast: “A heap of heaps” from @basecspodcast
- #TheOdinProject: Started paper planning for PROJECT:RECIPES, the final HTML lesson before jumping into CSS.
- @github: updated my profile and cloned a new repo to my local machine with Git.
Day 14 of #100DaysOfCode
- Completed 3 #CSS Flexbox lessons from from #TheOdinProject:
-- 👋INTRODUCTION TO FLEXBOX
-- 🐘🐭GROWING AND SHRINKING
-- ➕AXES - (plural of "axis")
- Listened up to S6E6 of the @basecspodcast, "Dear tries, you (auto)complete me."
If it's something I can do on autopilot and don't need to focus on (buying groceries, traveling by train), I listen to podcasts. I've listened to several episodes of the @basecspodcast on the train. Multitasking while listening to a podcast doesn't get either task done properly
Would you recommend to an absolute noobie, who wants to become a developer, to listen to podcasts about IT and becoming a developer? What can such a person learn from a podcast?
I'll second @basecspodcast! I listened through most of them a while back - @vaidehijoshi and @saronyitbarek are great hosts! Been thinking recently that I should go through them again, actually!
