The best predictor of future behaviour is... previous behaviour. In the absence of any evidence that the government has learned anything, it's another YES from me.

To us, this isn’t just business. It is our family, our lives, and our community. This isn’t just “how the cookie crumbles”, hard work should not just be brushed under the carpet. Unfortunately their idea of “business”, simply isn’t how ours has ever worked, nor will it ever be.

Miriam Cates has been in the news recently because of her remarks at the National Conservatism conference. We've just added her to our map - she accepted a huge donation of £15000 from a company that has investments in the private healthcare sector.

I’m a paediatric intensive care consultant. I did not strike yesterday although fully support my colleagues. Instead I did my last ever night shift after 22 years in #NHS Sorry 🇬🇧 I’m leaving for 🇨🇦 next week. For me (and my children - the next gen) it was just too late 😔
I am a NHS consultant. I am financially comfortable, in a job I love, so why am I striking tomorrow? Answer: Because the next generation will not be able to live off what I do today. The juniors that will become these consultants know this and are leaving already. Why? 🧵 👇

In my small GP practice, 2 practice managers have left the NHS completely in the last 10 months I've failed to recruit a GP partner for 5 yrs 4 reception staff left in the last 2 years-leaving the NHS Nurse retired This puts pressure on other NHS staff, morale is rock bottom 😞

Read this if you want to understand our 35% pay erosion. 20% just in the last 3 years. This is why I am going to strike for the first time in my life this Thursday & Friday and will continue to do so on any & all future dates the BMA announces.
1/ VITAL🧵 So people have had a couple of days to digest the DDRBs "independent" reports & their imposition by governemnt. TLDR;they represent further MASSIVE pay cuts. Lets start with some history and look at what happened BEFORE the current high inflation Pls read all/RT
