Just had a really good discussion with @michaelswinslow, @batmany13, and @gaythu_rajan On Building the tools for cross-team communication. Nice to share ideas of what works for different teams and what embrace communication from top down as well as transparency stood out for me.

Def being able to tap into our internal Java ecosystem was a key factor. We built our own registry and UI and a gql server dev frmwrk to use it. Our design of having a separate query plan/exec engine allows us to potentially tap into Apollo’s Rust impl in the future @tejas26
I’d love to hear from you folks, if there’s anything you can share, maybe around the choice of building it in-house vs. existing implementations - I get the JVM compatibility; how about performances, did you realise other tools weren’t up to the task?

Hiring is one of the biggest levers to increase your team's impact. But it's not the only one. My management team (incl. @batmany13 @kcasella) recently wrote down our philosophies on staffing & other levers for impact: buff.ly/38nXhek

Something magical happened, upgraded to #iOS14 beta, testing widgets & my apps home-screen of 6 yrs got wiped. I panicked for a second, but have now found it liberating. I can finally rethink the apps i actually want front and center. Sometimes #happylittleaccidents work out

There’s absolutely no way I could pass the coding interview at any of the big tech companies. Even the ones where the interviewer learned to code from one of my tutorials.

for anyone who uses TODO comments or collaborates on codebases, what do you think of github.com/augmentable-dev/t…? It's a CLI to surface TODO comments (in any language) and presents them next to the git blame to show when a TODO was added and by whom
