The EU is opening the first substantive accession negotiation cluster with Ukraine and Moldova 🔸 Enlargement would add nearly 40 million people to the EU’s 450-million-consumer Single Market, alongside significant agricultural production, critical minerals, industrial capacity and a strategically vital Black Sea frontier. 🔸 Previous enlargement transformed intra-EU goods trade from €671bn in 1993 to over €4tn today.
