Made it to the National Monument in #Jakarta yesterday despite some #stormy weather. โ
The obelisk was built to commemorate Indonesians' fight for independence and stands at 132 m (433 ft) tall.

Interestingly, the Faroe Islands are not part of the EU nor the Schengen zone even though they are part of Danish sovereignty. They are a nation with their own parliament and laws. They use Danish Krone as a currency and all foreign affairs and military are controlled by Denmark.
