random Jesus facts
1. The book of Isaiah, Chapter 53, predicts the coming savior’s (Jesus) crucifixion.
This was written 700 years BEFORE Christ, and hundreds of years before crucifixion was created as a means of death
2. Jesus was placed in a Tomb after being Crucified.
3 days later, that Tomb, which was being guarded by Roman Soliders… was empty.
Jesus then appeared to a LOT of people, Christianity began here.
People began laying down their lives for their belief in Christ.
3. Jesus time & time again claimed to be God, & have divine authority.
“I and the Father are one” (John 10:30)
Jesus also would forgive Sins, then would claim His authority to do so (Mark 2:10).
4. We see in the Bible that 12 year old Jesus was clearly gifted to those around Him
(Luke 2:47- “Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.”)
5. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life.
(1 Peter 2:22- “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth”)
6. Jesus is a confirmed, documented, historical person. His crucifixion is widely accepted from Christian & non-Christian scholars as well.

(Tacitus, a Roman Senator, references the execution of “Christus” underneath Pontius Pilate (man who ordered the execution at the time)
(Josephus, a Jewish Historian, references Jesus 2x, around 90AD in his writings)
7. After Jesus appeared to the Apostles, they immediately started preaching the good news Jerusalem
Jerusalem is the city where Christ was crucified, just days before.
(Acts 1-2)
8. Jesus’ half brother, James, thought Jesus was crazy during Jesus’ ministry (when Jesus was going around preaching)
(Mark 3:20- “When His family heard it, they went out to seize Him, for they were saying,
‘He is out of His mind.’”)
James ultimately is killed for his faith in Christ years later.
