Do something that others aren't but find value in it.
This has long been my advice to a young person looking to break into journalism. Three steps: 1) Find some public data that most people are ignoring. 2) Really learn what it measures and how to aggregate and present it. 3) Through posting, become the expert everyone turns to.

Behind "we" is "he"—the plea of the power-luster.
It is amazing we have a trillion dollar company dying in plain site and causing massive social disruption because of an incompetent CEO and we’re just letting it happen.

Lovely.
The U.S. government just unveiled the majestic Greco-Deco design for the new federal courthouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The building is at once monumental and welcoming, classical and original. The iris capitals are an inspired touch, drawing on Tennessee’s natural beauty and weaving it into the stone of a federal building. The Chattanooga courthouse is precisely the kind of building that President Trump’s Executive Order on federal architecture—“Making Federal Buildings Beautiful Again”—was designed to produce. When the courthouse is completed, it will stand as the living proof that the Order represents wise and humane public policy—something all Americans, regardless of political party, can and should support. Beautiful public buildings are not a partisan matter; they belong to everyone.

Wow, an already-opaque economy goes darker. This is not the move of a booming system.
New financial data rules just dropped from Beijing (CAC, PBOC, CSRC, etc.), and they explain exactly why the Chinese market is going dark. 👇 A breakdown of the new "Financial Information Service Data Classification & Grading Guide": 1/ Political Security is King: The highest tier ("core data") is explicitly reserved for data that impacts political security. Security > Economy. 2/ The "Important Data" Trap: Almost everything is now restricted. This doesn't just cover steel or EV tech—it includes food/beverage, retail, and hospitality across provinces. If it’s broad economic data, it’s classified. 3/ The Fallout: This explains exactly why firms like Bernstein are pulling out of Chinese consumer sector coverage. You can't analyze what you can't see/say. The Bottom Line: Analyzing the Chinese market is about to get a lot more murky. As I said long ago: from now on, all news will be good news. 🤫

We finally get to vote on traffic cameras. They've killed the bill every session for years.
AZ Leg's 2026 session ended at 4:45 am Saturday, after near fistfight at midnight. GOP teed up Nov votes at ballot box on: ⚪️Elections overhaul ⚪️Trans rights ⚪️Traffic cameras ⚪️DEI ⚪️Poison-pill ESA measure that would kill initiative curbing ESAs. kjzz.org/politics/2026-06-13…

Also awe-inspiring, every video of this thing rolling down the tracks shows crowds like it's a parade.
The idea that this Big Boy was rotting in a parking lot in Pomona, CA for six decades until Union Pacific rebuilt every component to get it working again is actually awe inspiring.

I guarantee you that they got more usage of Fable 5 than expected. It wouldn't surprise me if they got an already-receptive administration to give them cover.
Here is the truth: Anthropic is keeping Fable 5 and Mythos 5 only in the US because both models are slightly better (objective reviews) while costing exponentially more for both users and the company that is trying to shrink the Black Hole in its cash accounts in a hope to go IPO

Damn it. I had a good prompt going that I was going to follow up on today.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

The best time to be alive, medically speaking, has been the present pretty much since the Industrial Revolution.
picture this 8 of the world's biggest problems getting solved in the next 12-18 months 1. obesity: retatrutide phase 3 confirmed 30% bodyweight lost. 65% of patients no longer clinically obese. FDA submission late 2026 2. testosterone decline: FDA is expanding testosterone therapy. peptide and endocrine protocols going mainstream. the 1970 baseline is coming back. 3. birth rate crisis: embryo optimization commercially available today. scientists just rejuvenated aging human eggs in the lab. fertility is soon no longer a countdown 4. aging: Life Biosciences just injected the first reverse-aging drug into a human. Sinclair's oral reprogramming pill entering XPRIZE trials. 5. Alzheimer's: Retro Biosciences dosed the first humans with a pill that reactivates the brain's cellular cleanup machinery. Phase 1 results Q3 2026. 6. cancer: daraxonrasib nearly doubled survival in pancreatic cancer. RAS has been undruggable for 40 years. they drugged it. 7. mental health: psychedelics got a presidential executive order. Compass weeks from the first FDA approval of psilocybin. 8. heart disease: inflammation replacing cholesterol as the primary target. the root cause is finally being treated not the symptom. every single one of these has a clinical trial or an FDA action behind it right now humanity is slowly healing bio/acc

I like it when envy is naked and power-lust is blatant.
Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. Let’s make sure he’s also the last.

If they do this, it might be the first novel non-advertisement revenue stream.
Don’t use Fable 5 to build personal projects Don’t use Fable 5 to build business projects Don’t use Fable 5 for anything really, they’ll end up stealing it from you
