greek myths: 3,000 years aesop’s fables: 2,600 years claude mythos & fable: 3 business days we are officially in the theatre-maxxing era of AI
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

yes, you do
"They said you have to move to San Francisco. I went back on stage, grabbed the mic, and said: no, you do not." Shopify's @fnthawar on why you can build anywhere — and what YC got wrong at their Toronto event.

are you sure? lol

I have never seen an animal commit suicide. I find it interesting that animals, especially apex predators, don't appear to conceptualize “hopelessness” the way humans do. Even at the brink of death, they fight, bite, claw, and persist without turning their suffering into despair.

y’all have chairs and automatic standing desks? also how’s Aeron? my founding engineer is complaining of backpain
One of my reliable signs that an early-stage company is in trouble: I walk in a few weeks after their seed round closes, and every employee is sitting in a $1,000 Aeron chair behind an automatic standing desk.

Tomorrow, 120 teams launch in San Francisco, under one roof. Robots moving. Agents earning. Hardware working. Software shipping. Not pitching decks. Not talking about building. Building. This is what SF is supposed to feel like. Link in bio.

I don’t say this to look down on anyone! But I’ve never seen this magnitude dispersion of knowledge and awareness of new technology in my life. People need to know.
Co-sign. You can extend this out several more notches too.

founders outside SF think this is not true and they can make it from anywhere they couldn’t be more wrong im using an outbound tool which does the job of a sales team of 4 FTEs 5x’ed our growth nobody outside the SF circle will know abt them for another 6 months at least

AOC was cool for a minute i didn’t knew people still listen to her
AOC: “There’s a certain level of wealth and accumulation that is unearned. You can’t earn a billion dollars. You just can’t earn that. You can get market power, you can break rules, you can abuse labor laws, you can pay people less than what they’re worth, but you can’t earn that”

just did exactly this in a proposal to a new client fingers crossed 🤞
My biggest startup pricing advice: Whatever you want to price at, 3× it. Works almost always. Founders chronically underprice at first.

when linkedIn congrats you on your fundraise… but you just saw Anthropic drop another massive revenue number on X
When you realize 𝕏 now pays per view but actively suppresses view counts despite high likes and replies.

For CEOs, if you're speaking at an event, it's sometimes >0 value to attend (get customers, recruit talent, raise profile, practice pitch, etc.). If you're not speaking at an event it's generally <0 value to attend.
