“Los Angeles utility workers are making OVER $700,000 a YEAR.” Spencer Pratt dug into LADWP payroll records — 100 employees clearing $500K, some hitting $700K in an $11 BILLION department run by the same political insiders. This is institutionalized fraud on taxpayers.

Irony, thy sweet, familiar sting.
In the sweep of history, admittedly not all that long, this is likely the most pathetic and most captured generation of black athletes there’s ever been.

it’s so funny to watch losers struggle to comprehend that for normal people, Trump isn’t the big bad wolf / bogeyman / great Satan that journalists, academics, & other coastal elites want him to be for most, he is the guy from The Apprentice who was on The Fresh Prince one time

an actually ambitious United Nations would be a pretty awesome thing. imagine UN bureaucrats implementing very simple global QoL changes (global universal plug standards, reducing costs of international phone calls and such, etc.) instead of whatever BS they do rn

Einstein's childhood household had income of around $30,000 in 2026 dollars, below the federal poverty line of $33,000 for a family of four.
Replying to @MigaZionDon
Genetics certainly matter. But good sir - if you subjected Einstein to poverty his whole life, he never becomes Einstein.

REMINDER: what libs call “children’s cancer research” or “feeding the hungry” or “helping the homeless” always is code for “leftwing NGO sinecures for their army of activists” and we also coincidentally end up with more childhood cancer, more people on food stamps, and more homeless.
We have this, but kids cancer research was deemed wasteful spending.

So you can be forced to wear a uniform with a values statement you disagree with in MLB, but you aren’t allowed to state your disagreement with the values? The clear solution here is just wear normal uniforms and stop pride nights. It’s counterproductive at this point.
After three San Francisco Giants pitchers appeared in Friday’s game with Bible verses written on their Pride Night caps, MLB issued a warning that similar behavior will not be tolerated. More details: nyti.ms/4virvHy

A few blocks from me. (For a moment, I thought it was a place I had actually lived, but there are a lot of cookie cutter apartments here.)
👮‍♂️LAPD killed this lady's dog on a noise complaint call. The dog's name was Jameson, a golden doodle. The dog was no threat, but he barked at strangers. The family and the dog was celebrating the New York Knicks victory. A neighbor called in a noise complaint and the LAPD showed up and shot the dog when it barked at the officers. Police treat killing dogs like it's routine business and no big deal. That needs to change, it needs to become a big deal. I think every time an officer shoots a dog it should be investigated and scrutinized just like when a person is shot. It seems police escalate to lethal force FIRST when dealing with a dog they perceive as aggressive. It seems they never use pepper spray first, just straight to deadly force. That needs to change. This is not okay.

On this day in 1849, James K. Polk died at just 53 years old, only 103 days after leaving the White House. That is the shortest retirement of any president in history. Here is why it stings. Polk was a dark horse nobody expected to win, and he announced he would serve a single term and accomplish exactly four enormous goals. Lower the tariff. Restore an independent treasury. Settle the Oregon border. Acquire California and the Southwest. He did all four. Then he worked himself into the ground doing it, left office exhausted, and was dead within months. He may be the most ruthlessly efficient president America ever had, and almost nobody remembers his name.

This remarkable outcome made possible by: 1- Hydraulic fracturing 2- Horizontal drilling 3- Gut instinct and good geology 4- Huge risk tolerance of US shale producers and backers....
What a remarkable outcome: the world's largest ever oil supply disruption failed to create a major energy crisis. The IEA said 2026 shock was worst than 1973, 1979 and 2022 together. And yet, the cost of oil, natural gas, electricity and coal never surpassed the previous peaks.

A good friend of mine was one of those insanely talented engineers @Cisco betrayed & replaced with cheap indian labor.
Cisco cut over 9,800 jobs in 2024 across two rounds, then turned around and filed roughly 2,000 H-1B petitions. Nearly all approved. A profitable company, every quarter. The shortage was never the problem. The price of Americans was.

23% of the Mexican population lives here. They send 64 billion dollars of remittances back home to Mexico. Remittances to Mexico must be ended. Not taxed. Ended.
Mexican fans booed the US flag during the World Cup opening ceremonies, yet they are dying to come here illegally and fight like hell to not be shipped back home.
