DISCOURSE: We avoid politics as much as possible, but we say this: The vulgarity of language used by our leaders is astounding and not helpful. It is disruptive and it drives us down the worm hole per progress, but also fuels discourse. It also empowers what citizens think is appropriate in their interactions with Public Safety The debate is super important, but can we tone down the use of F words? It only fuels our children and the next generation in how they interact with a natural conversation.

We grew up in the late 1960's with great political turmoil, but it never felt like this. For sure, the USSR threat was real, but never the level of upheaval of politics at home that we are now faced with. The danger has now shifted from geopolitical to additive issues at home. The events in Minnesota this morning are alarming. No one should lose their life because of their beliefs and it is truly alarming. K9 ROCKY: Recounting the good outcomes from last week. Rocky, a U.S. Marshals Service K9 was sh0t twice during a manhunt and was rushed by helicopter to Westbury Animal Hospital where his handler stayed by his side. While details are still emerging, USMS is indicating Rocky was instrumental in saving multiple lives that day. He was just released from hospital care and is expected to make a full recovery and will likely return service. Four legs or two, all wear a badge and are a part of a team keeping our communities safe. #K9Rocky
